It's me, Charity

Last week's recap is short and sweet because a longer recap of a very special day is coming!! I started off the week by finishing designing, printing and laminating my new No Soliciting sign. I get So.Many. random people knocking on my door. Drives me nuts. We shall see if this sign deters any of them!   Wednesday I was bright eyed and busy tailed and counting down the days! Two more sleeps until my special very exciting Friday!!!!   I drove to KY and FINALLY got to meet Sweet Evie!!!! And I got to see my favorite 3 yr old blonde, Addie Jane! She is such a delight! She was a cutie as a baby and toddler but she is downright hilarious now that she is 3! And still my little lovebug. She loves big that Addie Jane. Don't you just want to squeeze her??!! Last week we kicked off the week with 1!! day until my birthday! It was also my Grandma's birthday, In heaven, and I spent the day thinking about her a lot. I got several tops from my parents for my birthday so I wore one of them on Monday. I got a special package in the mail from my former piano teacher, Dr. E. and I was so excited!!!! I love his care packages of piano books!! I had to snap a picture and send to my friend Cindy. This was one of our favorite songs in college. (Definitely NOT PCC Approved!) She wanted to hear it so I happily obliged and played a little bit of it on a video for her.  Nothing like sitting by some festive birthday balloons while one teaches!  There are no pictures of me on my birthday because I did not shower or put makeup on. and it was kind of wonderful! It was really nice outside so I had the windows open all day long. I got to have a special birthday phone date with Audra and talk to Addie bear! It was wonderful!! ...

 Well I started off last week with sickness. So we join in the week on Weds, my next to last day of teaching! Christmas party in your lesson week was still happening for some students who couldn't come the week before so I busted out my antlers again!  Thursday I was feeling tired, and I had a ton of errands to run before teaching so I loaded up with a big ol mason jar of coffee.  I had to go get a frame for this AMAZING painting that one of my students Dad's made for me! That is Audra and her family in front of their old house when they sold it. It was her birthday gift.  Last day of lessons called for a festive headband! I snapped this in the middle of the afternoon when I was down to 4!! students!   I also got cozy, because I had had a rough day. Break was never needed more!  This is random but oh my word these chicken tenders are SO good! I got them at Target and now I need to buy more. It's a rare chicken ten...

 Whew!! What a Week!! I had virtually no pictures for Monday- Wednesday, but I made up for that in the latter part of the week. :) Monday and Tuesday I had off work, a 4 day weekend. And my only plans were church on Sunday. And it was WONDERFUL!!! I can't tell you how much I needed several days off with no plans, nothing to do, nowhere to be, no one to see! It was wonderful, and rest full and just SO much needed.  Thursday was the first day of my studio's Summer Schedule, which meant I actually got done in the afternoon vs late in the evening. Which was nice! I had an apt with a new prospective dr. My wonderful Dr, moved late last year, and after trying a different Dr, whom I was not pleased with. I did some research and found one that was close to my house and looked promising. I asked for one of my Specialist's opinion and she highly recommended them, so I went into the apt feeling hopeful! And wearing my new sandals which must makes everything better. ...
