It's me, Charity

Any guesses where I started off my day at? The Dentist! And, It snowed. Seems about right for my life. Thankfully nothing terrible happened at the Dentist this time, I just needed a refill of my antibiotics and the Dentist gave me a steroid for the inflammation, since I can't take NSAIDS. (Allergic) So I got up an hour and a half earlier than normal to be ready for the dentist and then my first two students cancelled from sickness. SO I got a lot of stuff done! I took my first steroid pill in the afternoon and was teaching and was still tired and thought, oh these aren't making me as awake as they usually do. Then 8:00 pm hits, my last students leave and I think, hmm.. I think I'll tackle and clean my mess of a laundry room. .......................................................................................................................... I think they were effective. So effective that I didn't fall asleep until 3:45 am...

So when we left off with last week's recap, I was regailing you with the tales of the extreme dental pain I was in. I had to suffer all of Monday before I could get in with the Dentist on Tuesday. Helpful with emergency apts, they are not. I did manage to get a little bit of sleep on Monday night, and was up early and terrified Tuesday morning. I don't know why I was so scared, but I really was. I played "Lord I need you" on the piano before I left to try and calm myself down, I was walking around my house praying out loud, I was terrified! I think I was most worried they wouldn't be able to figure out what was wrong with me, that they wouldn't be able to fix it that day, or that they would and I would get sick from the numbing. The last three times I have had dental work done I have gotten flu like symptoms from the numbing shots. The first two times were somewhat far apart, and both times I thought I just had food poisoning. I threw up over night bu...

Oh last week. I barely can remember you at this point!! Monday I wore one of my favorite new shirts, and had a little exploration out to Family Dollar before teaching. I know, I live a really thrilling life. I didn't find anything super exciting but it's funny how being in a different store, that you've never been inside, in a different area than you shop in can make you feel like you're in a completely different town! Tuesday was the first day of Spring and DQ's Free Ice Cream Day!! YAY! Sadly they didn't let me pick chocolate this year, but it was still delicious. And yes that is a sweater I am wearing because it was spankin cold here! Tuesday evening I found out Jboz might be having her baby soon, and blessedly I did not have to drive her to the hospital and deliver the baby on the side of the road.  Despite them sending her home that evening, I woke up many times to check my phone over night, and when I got up for good that morning I sent ...

I picked up these adorable candle holders at CVS on major clearance. SO cute!!  I might be bad about blogging but I was wrapping Christmas Presents on Labor day weekend. Like a BOSS!!  DQ had a free oreo frappe a few weeks ago and it was SOOOO good! Oreos, Ice Cream and Coffee. YUM!  Have I mentioned how much I hate the dentist?
