 Pictures are out of order, but last week I got my hair trimmed and thinned, (THANK GOODNESS!!!) and while I was there Jda asked me if she could straighten it. I had the day off and nowhere to be so I said sure why not! I rarely straighten my hair because it takes SO long, and I am hot sweaty and sore by the time I'm done. And my hair will still not be completely straight!  This was the straightest I have ever seen my hair in 31 years of life! And that is with the chemical hair straightening I did in college!!!! I did not recognize myself!  When I got home from the salon I had a box of goodies from Sephora. Happy Day! I did not like the BB cream, so I returned it today. Love their free returns!! I got the waterproof of my new favorite mascara from Tarte, and a 3 mascara sample from Lancome! I was pretty geeked about that! I also got some spray tanner stuff which I have not yet tried. Last night I dyed my hair back to dark brown, although it's a tad darker than my normal color I think I like it! I was getting tired of my summer highlights and was ready for a change! And yes it lacks a tad since I was outside and sitting in the shade, but beggars can't be choosers! It was way too gorgeous to miss out on!

Caca said my first pics weren't good enough so I took some new ones for her! I learned not to put the gel cream in that I did when i had longer hair and i think it helped! Looks more natural! I just love my hair!!!

Thursday night my FABULOUS friend Bryna took me from blah to Blond!! At church Sunday I found out she was a professional hair dresser, I about died of excitement when she said she would cut my hair and give me highlights! My poor hair has struggled greatly since my mushroom haircut of Feb and I have really hated it. But Bryna was able to fix it and I can't tell you how much better I FEEL and LOOK!! My Bryna!! I am so thankful God brought her into my bible study and my life! She has become a dear friend to me and someone I feel so safe sharing my heart with. I don't know which was more awesome last night, having my hair done or having a sweet time of fellowship with her! It was wonderful! I'd been feeling a little lonely actually since bible study ended and I wasn't seeing my girls so to get to spend a few hours with her talking was really really wonderful. hahahahaahhaah she took this and i looked at it and said OHMYGOODNESS IS MY HAIR WHITE?!??!?!?!?!? Stay tuned for an important update concerning my hair!! My FABULOUS friend Bryna is going to cut, shape, and thin out my hair on Thursday night. annnd... HIGHLIGHT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOO!!!! I am SOOOO EXCITED!! I CAN'T STOP USING CAPS AND EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!! Bryna is probably tired of getting TEXTS LIKE THIS FROM ME!!! BUT I'M SO EXCITED!! My hair has been struggling for awhile now thanks to the too-short mushroom cut the girl gave me but Bryna is going to save the day! HALLELUJAH!! Stay tuned for pics of the new 'do!!

Hmmm... what should I blog about today?? How about some random ramblings of my bored brain? Sounds like a plan! Do you notice anything different about me in the top picture? I had Katie Marie highlight it Friday night during Girls Nite! She is becoming quite the expertise on highlighting! I'm not sure if I love it love it but i'm adjusting. The first time she did my hair back in May we used a box of some fabulous stuff that I LOVED, but of course if I love a product that means they will discontinue it within a few days without me knowing. Katie Marie stopped by my apt Tuesday night to show off her new 'do!! She got her hair did and went curly! (just for the night!) it looked SOOOOO CUTE!! I told her she was wearing that in my wedding (if I get married before 95 and we all still have hair) Isn't she just precious? I thought she looked like a 1930's flapper girl! And she had RUFFLES on her shirt! RUFFLES PEOPLE!!!!

So last night I had alot of time of my hands so I decided to take a walk on the wild side and straighten my hair! I was actually really wanting to cut my hair yesterday its hit the spot on my neck that drives me crazy and i have it up in a pony tail by 2pm at the latest everyday. But after I saw how long its gotten straight I have been strengthened to KEEP GROWING!! I really don't recognize myself when i look in the mirror or look at these pics. Its super weird! I guess I'm just so used to seeing myself with my curly 'fro! I did get alot of compliments and double takes today so that was cool! I think it might stick around for one more day if it isn't too icky.

Katie Marie highlighted my hair on Saturday afternoon. It went really well!! I think I want to get another box and do it again, so I am more blonde than brown. She did an AWESOME job for never having done that before!! Thank you Katie Marie!! You ROCK!! and um.. sorry about the spilling of rasberry lemonade on your floor. i promise I will quit shaking beverages.

Well I experiemented last night at highlighting my hair. Katie wasn't able to come over and we all know that when I get a bug in my ear to do something to my hair i just can't wait! I started out doing strips of highlighter and then ended up putting it all over. The end result is a tad more red than I wanted. I didn't leave it on long enough, but over all its a nice change, and hey you can't beat the price!!

The time where I am very bored with my plain brown hair and I get the urge to dye it. What color this time? Well Thursday night Miss Katie Marie is coming over and we're going to use my highlighter to go blonde! YEAH!! Or at least have blonde highlights. Knowing my luck with my hair turning different colors, remember the garfield 'do of may 08? yeah, who knows what color of hair I will show up to work with on Friday!! JESUS IS COOL!!
