It's me, Charity

 Last week started off with a day off on Memorial Day. I took zero pictures and stayed inside in the a/c. It was HOT. I read and relaxed and thought about the people who were missing those they had lost. I'm always extremely thankful for our soldiers sacrifice to keep us safe. We really do live in the best country in the world! Tuesday I taught the majority of my Monday students, and again managed not to take a single picture. I was very confused all day long and thought it was wednesday.  I snapped this picture Weds during a lesson. Does anyone see anything odd about her music?! Last week we kicked off the week with 1!! day until my birthday! It was also my Grandma's birthday, In heaven, and I spent the day thinking about her a lot. I got several tops from my parents for my birthday so I wore one of them on Monday. I got a special package in the mail from my former piano teacher, Dr. E. and I was so excited!!!! I love his care packages of piano books!! I had to snap a picture and send to my friend Cindy. This was one of our favorite songs in college. (Definitely NOT PCC Approved!) She wanted to hear it so I happily obliged and played a little bit of it on a video for her.  Nothing like sitting by some festive birthday balloons while one teaches!  There are no pictures of me on my birthday because I did not shower or put makeup on. and it was kind of wonderful! It was really nice outside so I had the windows open all day long. I got to have a special birthday phone date with Audra and talk to Addie bear! It was wonderful!! ...

Last week's weather can be summed up in two words. Wind and Rain. And my hair forecasted the weather QUITE well. it was huge and massively curly all week long. Wednesday the countdown to my birthday got serious! Less than a week! I posted this on IG, but I have to laugh when I see this picture. All I can see is my pianist fingers and the space between my pinky and ring fingers. # I like big chords and I cannot lie! So Thursdays I don't teach until later in the afternoon. I Always think I will get a ton of work done at home and on the computer. And I usually end up running errands. That day I had a chiro apt, and then had to run to Aldi for groceries to make my special Sunday lunch for my birthday party with my parents.And I went somewhere else, but I can't remember where....... So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
