I may be biased but I also have extremely good taste in people, so just trust me when I say that my Best Friend Kim is someone you need to meet! She is 31 (doesn't she not look a day over 25??) and is pretty much the greatest person I know! We have been best friends for the past 10 years and she is prolly the most loyal person you will ever meet. I went thru a rough phase and wasn't walking with God and really wasn't any type of person that you'd want to be around and yet she stuck by my side.  She prayed for me, and loved me even when I wasn't very loveable. She was there to help me piece back together my life when I needed it the most. Kim really has a heart for the Lord and strives to live for him in her daily life. Meet my Best Friend Kim!! (on the right) She is a late 20's southern belle who has no idea I'm doing this. (Pray for my health and safety!!) Kim has been my best friend for 7 years now and is genuinely one of the nicest, sweetest, SELFLESS people I have ever met. People like her do not come around very often. She has a real sweet spirit to her and is very nurturing. She lives in Florida and graduated from the Christian college we attended with a degree in Office Administration. So I'm home sick today working the last dredges of what Urgent care tells me was an Intestinal Virus, fabulous, and I get an email from my BFF Kim. So I open it and it appears to be her Pastor's weekly email message to the congregation complete with a devotional and then upcoming events at the bottom. She didn't write a message with it so I was trying to figure out what she wanted me to read. I skimmed through the devotional and it was pretty good so I thought, maybe she just sent it for that? I decide to scroll down and read the announcements, even though I am not in Florida attending their church :) and what do I see at the bottom that almost made me spit out the bland pancake I was trying to eat? Only an announcement that my one serious ex's FATHER was coming to her church to preach for an entire Sunday! I read it twice, but I knew it was him. Today is a VERY VERY Special day! Its my best friend in the whole entire world's Birthday!! Thats right folks, Today is Kimberly Michelle Lewis' BIRTHDAY!! Words can't express how much I love her and appreciate her friendship. Though miles seperate us, our hearts beat together. Kim has been my best friend for the past 7 years. From the moment we met at PCC, in our suite's bathroom. And met, and met again. yes we met several times, as she did her hair a different way each day of that week and I was beginning to wonder exactly HOW MANY people were living in my suitemate's room. :) I finally figured out all of them were Kim and she hasn't been able to get rid of me since!! She truly is like family to me, and her family is like my family as well. I can go to her with any problem and she will listen to me and care. She listens to my snot :) and to my ramblings and my ticked off moments (although she laughs at me when I'm mad) She helps me pick out my outfits ...

I am in such a good mood this morning, which is slightly odd, because its Monday, But I am feeling great!! I had a lovely weekend, relaxed Saturday and then worked Sunday at our Scholarship Reception. Which went perfectly, minus the one small detail of our Dean showing up late. Thankfully he wasn't tons late, as my co worker Betsy was about to have a heart attack. Other than that small blip it was great! I greeted the Students and their familes as they arrived and was the Thanks for coming have a greast afternoon person standing by the door as they left. I tried my hand at waitressing, filling up drinks, and that was a tad awkward. Thankfully I didn't spill on anyone. I was terrified that I would! So I spent a few hours there, and then ran to Payless to pick up a few items I needed for the dinner i'm making my SIL Liz. I ran home and cleaned my apt so she wouldn't be in shock at the dust:) And then I relaxed and watched a Dr Phil and the Emmy's red carpet. I love se...
