 Last Monday I tried a new drink at DD, their Iced Coffee with Mocha. I ordered it on the mobile app and missed the part about adding milk, so it wasn't quite my favorite but it wasn't bad either! Also, I believe it is ALWAYS an appropriate time for iced coffee. 20 degree weather, who cares!  I got the cutest valentine's day card in the mail from Audra, and it got me all teary eyed. thankful for friends who love me well!  The daily countdown to my birthday!  Wednesday I got up early to go to the Minute Clinic for the sinus infection that will never end. And got a person whom I was NOT a fan of. Despite the rough start to the morning it perked up when one of my students brought me a heart shaped pretzel for Valentines day! SO sweet! And so very yummy.  Thursday I was up early again, and in need of extra caffeine.  Everyone who has ever worked with me is going to be shocked by this. BUT, for the first year since I was a child, I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day! That's right! No more wearing all black! Yes, I was one of THOSE people! I remember when I worked at the Tax office during college, my coworkers would always get me to break out of my black for Valentine's Day but i refused to. Well to make up for lost time, I decided to have a WEEK OF PINK!! Go big or go home!  So we started off with Monday, I wasn't feeling so great, so I'm sporting my pink glasses, a comfy sweater, and I threw on my scarf and a sparkly headband to actually look like I tried to look decent.  Tuesday my antibiotics were kicking in, so I looked much better! ha!  My shirt has a really cool knot on it that you can slightly see in the right hand corner of the picture. This is not news to anyone that knows me. When you read this, I will be sitting at work, wearing black. I always wear black on Valentines day. Its my own way of protesting. I wouldn't let Apes decorate our office in hearts, ect for V-day, even though people kept suggesting it. Everytime someone would suggest it I would sternly inform them that we do NOT celebrate Valentines Day in this office, and glared at them. Finally it got to the point where they would say it and Apes would jump in and tell them no before I could start on my rant. So I just sat there glaring instead. I had a lovely Valentines Weekend, spent with this little cutie pie. I kissed and hugged him untill he couldn't take it any more! Here he is blowing me a little smoochie!! I mean its just really too much cuteness. More than I can handle at least. Sammy ended up falling asleep on my shoulder, and let me tell you it was the best moment of my entire week. If not month.
