This probably could be entitled the week I drank a ton of coffee from Dunkin Donuts. SO really, not a bad week!  On Monday I started my week long project of making a wedding present for some dear friends that were getting married at the end of the week!  And somehow I never took any pictures until Thursday. Still blazingly hot outside, getting ready to teach a skype lesson.  Friday night I finished my present which was good because....  Saturday was the wedding!!And we went from super hot outside to rather chilly! It was great!! I busted out the maxi dress, long sleeved cardigan and a scarf. Which the latter I managed to somehow drag thru cupcake icing at the reception. Whoops. Despite the fact that I went to the WRONG CHURCH. I made it on time for the wedding, and it was beautiful! Shawn cried when Laura walked up the aisle, just like I knew he would! And I might have cried a little too. The vows man... The Vows ALWAY...

Lately...

Life Lately has been in a word.. Crazy. Insane. Exhausting. BUSY. Oh wait, that was more than one word. Well you get the point! From the middle to end of November it has been non stop busyiness for me. It's the most wonderful time of the year, but also the busiest for a Musician! One wedding, two solo concerts, and my Studio's Christmas recital, in the span of about 3 and 1/2 weeks. Sweet Nibbletts!  Here is a peek inside the madness....  The first event in November was a Wedding I was playing at. I haven't played at a wedding in several years. I used to do TONS of weddings back in college days to earn money. however it had been awhile since I had played for one. So I said sure why not! I was so nervous that I would get sick before hand. I was exposed to the stomach flu not once, but twice by students that week, and I spent my time praying I'd stay well and taking all the vitamins I could handle. thankfully I did not succomb to the flu! But I was having the ...

Crafty Girls

October was my Mom's birthday and my Parent's 38th Wedding Anniversary. I knew I wanted to make them something special that held meaning. Over Labor day weekend I was helping go through my Grams cards and moment's and just happened to stumble upon my parents wedding invitation, wedding napkins!! a bridal shower invitation and a thank you note. I managed to sneak them into my suitcase and took them home with me. I enlisted my partner in crime, Audra, to help me figure out how to best display them. And, one of the most important things, she helped me out by taking them to work and using their paper cutter. I have the cutting skills of a 3 yr old, not even kidding, so I was terrified I would destroy it! Here is what we started out with. I actually found this frame at Salvation Army and fell in love with the frame and the matting. The Gold in the double mat was perfect for the 1970's color of invitation my parents had. However, I wasn't entirely sure how I was go...

Jboz is MARRRIIIIEEEDDDDD!!

Disclaimer- My camera hated me Saturday so All of the Pictures are from Emboz! Saturday Jboz got married!! It was a really sweet ceremony, I teared up but I did not cry! Bunna took care of that for all of us!! Jboz looked soooo pretty in her dress! But she is always beautiful!! I was so glad I was able to make it to her wedding! I think if I had been sick she would have came to my apt and drug me to the church :) The newly married couple arriving at the reception! It was at a camp in the woods and they had the lights down and candles lit on all of the tables, it was soooo romantic!! Here I am with my date-Madi!!!!! She was such a little ball of fluff in her big poofy dress! She was a little tired after all of the excitement so she was resting a little bit with Auntie Cherry. I got to watch her while Emboz went around taking pics and it was really fun! Worked out perfectly since I had went to the wedding alone and everyone I knew was in the party! Awww cuties!! Me and the gorgeous bride...

Blast from the Past!!

So I was cleaning out the pictures on my computer and ran across this gem! I love it!! This was taken the day of my Brother's wedding to Liz! My Mom is beside me and Chantelle, the MOH is on the other side with her hubby Denny. That day was just full of laughter and love. It still ranks up there as one of my favorite days EVER. And I love that this picture captures some of that.

Lins Bridal Shower

Me and Lins!! The BRRRIIIIDDEE!! I had a fun weekend, Friday night was my friend Lindsey's Bridal Shower. Lins and I have been friends since we went to college together at Ivy Tech. We were both Office Admin and had many of the same classes together and have been friends ever since!! I'm so excited that she has finally found the man of her dreams and is getting hitched! She has always been the Career girl, never as boy crazy as I have been so its really cool to see her settle down! Sadly, she is getting married at a temple out of state (she's Mormon) so I will not be able to go to her wedding on 12-12, BUT she is having a reception Jan 24 so we will get our dancing groove on then!! Me and Sarah the brides sister! It was in Linden, which i had to get directions to because I had no ever loving clue WHERE it was. And I am proud to say that I did NOT get lost!!!! Much fun was had at the shower, I sat with her sister Sarah, who is even crazier than I am :) I ended up being the ...
