Mid Week Confessions

I have been SO beyond crankysauce the past two afternoons. It seems like noon hits a switch from Happy Cherrybear to CRANKY Cherrybear. In my attempts to get my house looking clean and put away I may or may not have taken the boxes that aren't fully unpacked and I don't want to deal with, and put them in my spare room/office-which is quickly turning into my junk room. Which would be all fine and dandy if I wasn't having a house guest in a few weeks. Whoops. A few weeks ago I had the most humiliating thing happen to me at work. I was coming back from lunch and my Chiro apt had ran over, so I was really hustling it to make it back to work on time. There weren't any parking spots in A-the lot right by the building, so I ignored the Do Not Enter signs, and grabbed a space in the big parking lot and ran to the building, ran to the elevator to try and beat the clock.  One problem. The whole Do Not Enter. The head of security saw me illegally doing that and radio'd...

The Townhouse- A List

I like lists. I love them actually. So in my list loving spirit, I shall make a blog list of what I love about my new place and will not miss from my old! 1. The Geese.  Or lack thereof. I am so glad that I can safely go to and from my house everyday without getting attacked by geese. 2. The Stairs. Or lack thereof. I LOVE that I can walk right into my house and don't have to climb sets of stairs to get there. 3. Grocery shopping. Is much more fun now that I don't have to look at every product and Gage how heavy it's going to be carrying up to the 3rd floor.  4. Silence. Sweet. Blessed. Silence. 5. The closeness to Target. I'm not sure my bank is going to agree with me on this one, but I love living so close to Target and other stores. Saturday night my wireless usb card broke and within 15 mins i had went to target, bought a new one, and came back. Love it! 6. The lack of traffic on Creasy every morning. It actually takes me less time to get to work in ...

The Townhouse Tour- Piano Studio!!!

MY beauty!  I have been hoping and dreaming for this for years now. To go from playing the piano everyday for over 10+ years to only being able to play it when I go home to my parents. It's SO wonderful to have it here now and finally have a space to teach my students!  I have not yet found all of my Piano Books I know I have some boxes floating around somewhere, thanks to my former Piano Teacher, Dr Egan, sharing his library with me. Once I find them my bookshelves will be full!!!  This is just the perfect space for my Piano. I have a nice ceiling fan to cool me off when I get indepth into a song, it's just perfect. I couldn't have dreamt anything better! Well unless we're talking a Baby Grand... :)  Audie made me this wonderful sign back for my birthday several months ago and I had been just waiting to have my piano and hang it up. It looks perfect. And that is my FAVORITE hymn!  I've had this sign for years just waiting for the perfec...

Townhouse Tour- The Kitchen!

Today on the Townhouse Tour we stop in the kitchen! It's small but I like it and face it I don't cook much!!!  They put in brand new countertop and flooring, throughout the entire townhouse before I moved in. I have to confess I LOVE the countertop!! LOVE IT!! I think it's so pretty!!  Other side of the kitchen. This side doesn't have tons of counter space but it has enough that I can cook comfortably.  Another view  Sink. I really like my sink, Bryna will be so happy when she does my hair, my hot water gets HOT in about 0.89789 miliseconds. It's crazy!!! I was impressed that I hung my coke stuff somewhat straight.  The stove is across from the sink, and like I said, just enough space to cook comfortably. I may move my canisters to the other side at some point. I'm still trying to figure out how I like things arranged.  Long ways shot. The window blinds cover my back patio doors. Goes out to a patio and a storage space where...

4'th of July

The 4'th of July I headed over to Emboz' House to watch Baby Madi with Jboz! Madi took a huge nap so we were left to our own devices while she napped. We attempted to watch tv but they have this massive system and after spending over 30 minutes on it, i kid you not, we finally gave up!  So we snuggled into their comfy couches and just hung out and chatted while the Madster slept away. Here she is right after she woke up. Not quite awake yet but Auntie Beans  and Auntie Cherry wanted to play with her! Alas that was not to happen as her parents walked int he door 3 minutes after this picture was taken.  I straighted my hair for the 4'th and man oh man was my right arm sore!!  Love these gals, and that cheesy little face! She is SUCH a character! She gave Aunt Beans her dirty look/mad face as well so I didn't feel so bad that she gave it to me the week before :)  How can you not love this little goober??  Me and my Jboz! We had a g...

The Townhouse Tour- Master Bath

This is the view looking into the Master Bath from the hallway.  Standing right at the door in the hallway.  I really love that I have a bigger sink and room to spread out. I know I have alot of makeup stuff on my shelf, I need something to organize all of it.  I was so proud of myself for finding a picture at Menards of all places, that matched my bathroom. I felt like I had really made it into Grown up world, having art work in my bathroom!  I like the bigger mirror as well. Helpful in the mornings since I haven't found a place to put my long mirror. Side note: this is the view from my entrance to the bathroom from my bedroom. Direct from my door to the bathroom. Again, I love my picture. I might have to go back to Menards and see if they have another one to put in my downstairs half bath. It is sadly lacking i decoration. I have a matching pink rug like the one pictured above, but that's about it.

Live from my new house!

Greetings Earthlings! (one of my friends had a date that always said Greetings but for the life of me I can't remember who it was??) Anywho, I am coming to you from my bedroom in my new house!! YAY!! I am not all moved in, we moved the bed this afternoon so I could sleep here tonight and a few other items. It FINALLY rained here in Indiana, torrential rains while I was at work, just when my parents went to get my bed from my old place. Dad got to take a nice snooze on the couch while my Mom worked at my old place and I sat at work worrying that my bed wouldn't get moved. The rains did stop and we got my bed moved and set up.  I'm enjoying my super fast internet and the quietness and stillness of my new place. If I had half a brain in my body I would be going to bed early preparing for the huge task of moving my stuff from my third floor apt in 100+ heat.  As you can see I'm still typing. Oh well.  I really didn't think this day would come, and despite coun...
