Dinner with A&A

Last week I had dinner with the girls, and am just getting around to blogging about it! It was so much fun! I could not believe how much that Miss Addie had grown into more of a little girl, vs a baby, in the few short weeks it had been since I saw her last. Now she is sitting up in her highchair with us at dinner and looking all around when she hears noises, or her Momma walks away. It was CRAZY to me to see how fast she developed into that! Slow down little girl! I am cracking up at the selfie above, the 7 month old knows where to look for the picture, the 33 yr old. not so much.  Outtakes, me trying to get her attention. Addie- Not caring. Ha!  Why are you sticking that black thing in my face crazy lady? I like it better when you sweet talk me and call me a Pretty Girl!  Obviously I had called her a Pretty Girl there :) It was so cute that when I walked into the house Addie was eating some baby food in her highchair, she kind of looked at m...

Friday Favorites!

Well Look at me, I'm just a regular blogging machine! I'm joining one of my favorite bloggers Andrea at www.momfessionals.com for her Friday Favorite Link up!  First up on the List is this AMAZING, LIFE CHANGING, MIRACLE WORKER stain remover. Have I gotten my point across? This stuff is AMAZING! It can get a stain out of anything and everything!  Case in point, Thanks to having 20+ kids thru my house every week my couches looked like they all lived here. I washed my cushions in this magic and regular detergent and my couches look BRAND NEW!!!!  Another favorite, Scarf Weather! Well, we had scarf weather for basically one day and then it went back up into the 80's. I tried to keep scarf weather going but finally gave up and turned the ac on. But I'm hopeful it will be legit scarf weather soon!!  This is me saying YAY!! to scarf weather! Also on the day where I didn't die of sweat wearing a scarf :) The BEST Favorite of the week was having d...

Read a Book!

I love reading. Growing up my Mom always read to us, even after we learned how to read ourselves. We read all of the Boxcar Children, and various other series. To this day I still enjoy listening to my Mom read, only this time it's to my nephews :) Because of my childhood reading I am still a voracious reader to this day. It's something I really enjoy.  Which makes it crazy that I have never done a book list or what i'm reading now post on this blog! These aren't all of the books I've read recently, but some of my favorites! Hopefully it will inspire you to read as well!  I read a LOT of fiction, but I have recently really gotten into non fiction as well. Right now I am FASCINATED by the Kennedy era and his untimely death, so I have been reading many books about the Kennedys.  The above two books are my favorites, next to Killing Kennedy by Bill O'Reily. Clint Hill is the author of both, and he was the Secret Service detail for Mrs. Kennedy. He ...

Weekend Wrap-Up- The Nephews Come to Visit!

These pictures are completely out of order, but I am too lazy to fix them! So enjoy the scattered weekend wrap up!  My SIL and I have some of the same taste in clothing. Which explains why we got ready for Church Sunday morning and looked like Twins!  I hadn't really looked at us standing next to each other, and when I saw the picture I thought we looked a little dizzy-ing! My Mom said it was like one of those pictures where you have to squint your eyes to see what it really is. ha! Love the little photobomber.  Speaking of the photobomber, he was chasing Auntie around on his little car and honking his horn at me. I refused to move and took pictures of him instead. :)  I am obsessed with blue skies and clouds. I think they are SO beautiful! I snapped these on the way home from church Sunday. SO gorgeous!   e're fixin to walk out the door for church and I put my sunglasses on. Snugglemuffin is instantly concerned that Auntie Cha...

Allergy Shots

To say I have had a busy summer is putting it lightly. I am not a fan of cold weather or snow, but I was happy when school started and even happier when September 1'st rolled around.  Granted today is the hottest day of the year at 94 degrees and I feel like I am sweating in the ac. Minor Detail. Part of my busy summer were my Allergy Shots. Earlier this year I got tested and discovered the reason I had a sinus and ear infection from Sept- Feb was because of my Allergies. In March I started allergy shots at my former ENT's, with a not nice allergy lady who made me leave crying after my first apt. I learned how to do my own shots and did them at my house once a week. I was not that good at giving myself shots and had huge bruise spots on my arms, and then on my stomach. When I went back to the office to get another batch of medicine, my insurance had changed and they refused to see me. I left the office again in tears and raced home to get on my insurance...

This Ol' House- The Great Sewer Repair of 2015

My 4 year old nephew might be the only person who finds this blog post interesting. But since Bekah blogged about their sewer repair I figured, hey, if Bekah can do it, so can I! Brace yourselves for a thrilling blog post. Last year after I moved in, not even a month after I had been here, I began to have sewer issues. I would do the laundry or take a shower, and water would back up in the tub, and also come out the bottom of the toilet and flood my bathroom. It was not good. It happened twice, one in July and once in Sept, and I basically lived in fear for it happening again.  When you 1. Work from home and have alot of people in and out of your house and 2. Have Digestive problems, not having a restroom is not an option! I made it to June of this year, And then the inevitable happened. It clogged. Again. I had it roto routered twice, and finally the day came for it to be repaired! My sewer line was previously made of clay tile, and that crack...
