I'm soooo EXCITED!!

So everything has been much better at work, my final review was perfect. So I thought OK Lord, if this is where you want me, i'm going to be content here. Well I get home after that and I have an email from someone at Purdue about a position I had applied for a few weeks previous. I filled out the questtionaire they sent me and the cover letter they had requested. Today I got a voice mail from the lady asking if I could come in for an interview. AT PURDUE! UNIVERSITY! PURDUE UNIVERSITY PEOPLE!! I have always really really wanted to work there. The position is one I am very well qualified for but I think it will challenege me and interest me way more than my job now. Plus its better pay and AWESSSEEEEOOMMMMMEEE benefits!

So my interview is Thursday morning at 9:30. I'm not sure if I"ll just skip the morning at work, and go in late or leave early. Heck I don't know. Gotta decide by tomorrow so I can have someone cover for me. I'm leaning towards taking a few hours off. But We'll see. I am so excited and so nervous and I really hope this is something thats going to actualy HAPPEN, not just go to the interview and then not get hired.

So pray with me!!!

JESUS IS SO COOL!!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
