Funny Moments from last week...

I'm rather grumpy today, I have a case of the Mondays, so I decided to share two moments from last week that cracked me up.

The first is a message my Pastor left me on my facebook. I had commented him after the rhyming prayer from the Inaguration and this is what he left for me...

Oh Pastor Whips, you make me smile!!

And the second is an email from my Mom.

The back story to this: my parents LOVE 24, like seriously love: the world stops when its 9 pm on a Monday night. My Mom found a website phonezoo.com where you can get free ringtones so she downloaded the CTU ringtone to her home phone and my cell phone. So now I have my ringer for my parents set to the CTU Ringtone. Its only appropriate that I then answer the phone and say "CTU this is Chloe" and sometimes I call my Mom Jack. yes we're weird...

Well this is the email I got from her last week..

Dear Chloe,
Sorry that I forgot the carrots. I cannot remember everything when I am busy stopping terrorists. Glad the appointment went well. You need to get in good physical condition so you can be more helpful at the CTU.
Love,
Jack

I love my Mom!!!!

JESUS IS COOL!!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
