Just another Thursday in the life...

Well I am happy to say that I have re-joined the working world and feel like I might be half alive. My sickness seems to be getting better little by little, no one has offered to shoot me today to take me out of my misery so I'm taking that as a good sign. However, waking up in the middle of the night numerous times to cough and almost hack my lungs out is leaving a little bit to be desired.

It seems to be the new trend that when i get sick after I come back to work, I have somehow shared germs with my co workers. Today two of them are down for the count and a third one is getting sick as well.. Ooops.. Sorry guys!!

As you might have noticed I changed the look of my blog. I was bored with the old and lets face it, it wasn't that pretty. So Pink it is for now. I'm sure if I was highly intelligent I could figure out how to make my own blog background and whatnot. Sadly, I am not blessed with that intelligence. At least not today..

I'm getting really excited about being in Caca's wedding this August! Its going to be tons of fun! I haven't seen her since 2007 when she came to L-town for Ed's wedding so I miss her! I'm also excited that Kim, my bff, will be driving up to Charlotte from FL to see me and see Caca get married!! Fun times will be had by all!

JESUS IS COOL!!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
