4'th time is a charm!!!

Seriously, I think I am going to rename this blog something along the lines of "Charity's Dr Adventures" Thats right folks! I was at the dr yet again this afternoon! He told me to come in today if I wasn't feeling alot better from last week, and since I spent most of Saturday and Sunday in bed or asleep on the couch, I went back.

Sadly, I thought I was feeling better. Not so much. Dr Brian's verdict? Sinus Infection, Bronchitis, Ear Infection AND a fever of over 100! To that I said, i thought I felt a little warm!! The nurse just gave me a look. Some people just don't get my wit and humor. I tell you..

So here we are, back on antibiotics.. AGAIN. There is one bright and shining star throughout this saga, I have learned that if you get two prescriptions filled in a month At Payless/Kroger you get the 10 cent discount on gas! Needless to say I have met that both months:)

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today! In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week. The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent. I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me. And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not! This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :) Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
