7 Quick Takes

1. I'm allergic to Ibuprofin. How's that for randomness? It gives me hives from head to toe and I totally pass out. No fun. I live in fear that I'll hurt myself and be taken to the hospital and they will give me something with ibuprofin in it and kill me!!

2. I'm super excited that I am making friends at church, SINGLE FRIENDS!! And I actually have someone to sit with on Sunday morning! Trust me, If you had set alone in church for the past several years you'd be pretty excited too!!

3. I signed up for Danny's Voice Newsletters on Sophia's Heart. I think that pretty much makes me a stalker.

4. Along that line I was looking through old pics from college tonight (wow can't believe I went away 9 years ago!!!) and I found more than one picture of me and my roomies looking out our huge window with binoculars.

5. After 3 and 4 I'm pretty sure the Police are coming for me...

6. My Mom came to L-town and cleaned my kitchen for me while she was here. I don't think it has been this clean since I moved in. And i'm talking like since the moment I got the keys and opened the door. MY Mom ROCKS!!

7. Yes I'm 27 years old and my Mom spoils me rotten. I prefer to call it "well loved"

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
