Gross..

I had a bit of "fun" on Monday night. I had to do a Saliva test for my Dr.

They gave me this following kit and told me to chew the thing that looks like a wet wipe (incidentally, it was very dry!) for 30-40 seconds or untill I no longer could chew. Sounds fun right?

So I chewed the wet wipe, and tried not to be totally grossed out. Which didn't work, especially when the thing started disinigrating in my mouth! What the mess!! I frantically opened the little capsule to spit it out and put it in there and voila. What was in there?

The actual cylinder I was supposed to chew.

Yes, I chewed the wrong thing.

No the wet wipe thing wasn't supposed to be in there and the nurse gave me faulty information. Thanks for that btw.

After using an entire bottle of water to rinse the now disinigrated pieces of wet wipe from my teeth and other various mouth parts, I tried again.

It was gross. I ended up gagging and spit it out. Don't know if it was 40 seconds, don't care. I think I had enough spit on it!

Oh the fun joys of medical tests..

In other news I went back to the Lab for the 4'th time in less than two weeks and gave my 12'th vial of blood.

For someone who HATES needles and blood as much as I do, its been rather interesting. I am proud to say the last two times I have not passed out, cried or gotten really woozy. GO ME!

I will however admit that last night when she had the iv on my arm and blood started going through it and I felt it.. *SHIVERS* that about sent me over the edge.

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
