1. I almost forgot to post my 7 quick takes today!

2. It is GORGEOUS outside, a cool 70 some degrees, and rainy. I love summer rain. I have my window open and am enjoying the cool air.

3. Today (and partially last night) I found out that Zucchini is NOT GOOD for my stomach illness. Needless to say after my miserable afternoon at work in pain and nauseated I will never be eating that again. :(

4. But I am very thankful that Cucumbers continually do not bother me. I eat about one a night. Thanks to my Dad having an awesome garden!! YAYS Dad!!

5. Cherry Lemonade lifesavers are quite possibly the greatest invention in the candy aisle. My Dr told me to chew gum and have hard candy to deal with the extreme dry mouth and sore throats i get from my meds. I am quite happy to do this. :)

6. I get to wear my new shirt to Orientation on Sunday. I am really hoping it fits well. Today we found out that the sleeves are rather long and tight. Or at least they were on other people.

7. I painted my toes a super cute shade of pink tonight. Its NYC Updtown 242B a dollar at Walmart. I really like it!

  Once again I was lucky enough to be on the ARC team for another book by LJ Evans. Since I have discovered LJ she has become one of my top 5 must read authors. LJ’s books are like Christmas Day. Or your birthday if you’re like me and obnoxiously celebrate both. :) You count down the days until it happens with great expectation and excitement and then it gets there and you almost don’t want it to be there because then it will be over and you have to wait another 364 days for the magic to come by again. Thankfully for all of us LJ writes more than one book a year so we are all #blessed in that aspect. I’m always super excited to get and read her books, but it’s a mixed feeling of not wanting to start reading it because then it will be over, and I can’t wait to read it and see what happens. This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church.
