Chili and 4 yr old Theology

Friday I got to spend time with my bubbies and after Katie got home we had a lovely dinner of this FABULOUS chili her hubs had made for us. SERIOUSLY GOOD CHILI!! The best part was when Sam was giving us the update about the weather outside..

Sam-Darrhhkk.. Darrhhkk 'side (translated, its dark outside)

Joe- Its dark because God spoke it into existance.

Silence from me and Katie..

then laughter.. seriously you never know what that child is going to say!!

Here's Sammy taking a rest from the puzzling puzzle to watch curious george..

Mom gave me these foam thingies to give to the boys and boy howdy did we have a good time with them! :)
Sam has entered into the Irritable Twos, not terrible because he is an Angel Child (in my opinion!) but he has his moments like this where he was upset i wouldn't let him get in the fridge. so we had to throw ourselves down and fake cry. so of course I had to take a picture!! I know, i'm going to be a FABULOUS Mother!!
Back to the puzzle. Life is good again

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
