First Post as a 28 yr old!!!!!

Well as half of the world knows:) today is my birthday!!! I have had a really good day!! Despite not sleeping much from my excitement, I perked up and met Katie at the Spa! We both had our first massages but definitely NOT our last! I have to tell you it was one of the most FABULOUS and hilarious experiences I have ever had!! Katie and I in public are kind of, well, its entertaining to say the least. Especially when we shop together. Getting a massage was no different. We were in the same room together and I'm sure the therapists really wondered why it was taking so long for us to get dressed at the end, not to mention the giggling that was going on. Seriously, I thought I was going to pee my pants I was laughing so hard!

After that Katie got a manicure which didn't end up that good and I got my hair cut and styled and that DID end up good!! Although she didn't put enough product in it or seal it with half a can of hairspray like I do, so after shopping for a half an hour or more after that Katie made me go home and de-frizzify my hair before we all met for my birthday dinner at Olive Garden.

We had a good time and I got my yearly chicken alfredo and my birthday cake and all was well:)

Tomorrow the party continues as my parents are coming to town and coming to church with me! YAYS!! Katie and the boys are coming as well and then we are all having lunch at my apt!! I am really looking forward to spending time with my parents. I haven't seen them together since Christmas? and I really miss them!!

On a side note, anyone that lives in Laffy, I would GREATLY reccomend Christina and Company's education center by Meijers. They do a WONDERFUL job for a very cheap price. My massage was an hour long for 25 bucks!! And the shampoo cut and style was only 10!!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
