The only Memorial Day Pics...

I had some time between church and lunch and since my poor Dad hates having his picture taken and has been praying for my camera to die, I decided to amuse myself upstairs in my room while i was waiting for the hamburgers to grill.
I got a new lipgloss at CVS the other day it was half off. Wet and Wild I think and I really like it! But then again I love lip gloss and nail polish and really any sort of makeup!
A picture of my cute little outfit for church! Mom washed it and I'm wearing it again Tuesday to work. :) You can't tell but my shoes are purple and have three ruffles on them that are different purple tones! SO STINKIN CUTE!! I got them two weeks ago at Kmart on sale. I really wish they had the blue ones in my size. I may have to stalk them for that!

So yes, these are the only Memorial day pics I got. Today I got up after sleeping in and packed up and headed back to Laffy. I was so worried about going over the speed limit and getting a ticket that I may have driven just a tad TOO SLOW!! Yes, I was going 50 in a 55.. I blame it on my advanced elderly age!! Anyways I am home now, and getting stuff ready to head back into work land tomorrow!! I made it home just in time, it started pouring rain about 15 mins after i got here and now its storming. I love a good summer afternoon storm!!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
