In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. Today is Katie Marie's birthday and to celebrate she chose Coldstone Creamery!! Neither of us had really had it before so we were excited!! I had the Oreo Extreme or something like that and its was soooo good! We both got the medium and that was way too much. Next time I go there i'll definitely get a small. Its only two scoops of ice cream but with the add in's it was just a heck of alot of food.
This picture just cracks me up!! Sam Sam went with us as Joe had a play date, so Sammy was our Hot Date. He calls me "My Charity" and its soooo sweet! He was very excited to have vanilla ice cream, with fudge!
For her birthday I HAD to get her a big girl purse. Girlfriend has been carrying around a sad purse for the 2 1/2 years i've known her, I know crazy!! I change my purse once a month at least! But I digress. SO I found her the perfect sized small purse that is still able to fit her mommy stuff in, AND it matches her dress for Apes wedding!! She really liked it so that made me hapy :) Sam was pretty excited too.
We tried to get a good pic of us but with an almost 3 yr old that's really next to impossible. He wanted to move around! Actually he told us he was ready to go about 10 mins before this but we were still eating! HA!
We wore him out though. All of the excitement of ice cream with his Charity was just too much. He is such a precious little angel and even more so when he's asleep!! so cute!
