7 Quick Takes

1. There is nothing like a fun fb convo on Ames page to end a night on a good note. I love having friends I've known for half my life!!

2. Thursday night I baked Two Birthday Cakes, one white one chocolate fudge, 2 dozen cookies, and I made 30 Party in Your Mouth Sammies. My kitchen hasn't seen that much action since Resp had their exams the end of summer!!

3. My poor cakes, they struggle. They will taste delicious but the decorations, not so cute. They need a disclaimer upon them. I learned that I am not very talented with an icing pen situation. Not talented at all. It was so pathetic I was dying laughing. Poor Apes.

4. Ames and I remembered tonight that we tried to start our own religion when we were in HS. We called it Cheriamy, I know super creative right? And it was going to be the women's version of people who have plural spouses. We decided men shouldn't have all the fun so we should have multiple husbands. Clearly that did not take off. It was a brilliant idea though. I still think so!!

5. A week from now I will be chillaxin in NC with my Caca!!! Well hopefully I'll still be asleep since my flight doesn't get in untill midnight!! I CAN"T WAIT THOUGH!! We are going to have SO Much fun!!! I miss my Caca!!

6. Our Women's BIble Study started off Weds night with an Ice Cream Social! It was SO much fun and my soul was just revived to be around my ladies again!! Sarah and her friend told a hilarious story that was even funnier the second time they told it, Sheryl and I were laughing so hard we were gasping for air and had tears streaming down our faces. We about needed some Respiratory Therapists!! I TOLD Kathy she should come to bible study!!

7. Its a beautiful fall night here in Indiana, breezy and I have my balcony door open and my windows open, I love sleeping with the windows open! Well unless its Mon am and I forget the people are coming to empty the trash then I about hit the ceiling when I hear the noise!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
