NC Vacation! The Trip!

I was BEYOND ready to leave for my Vacation to North Carolina On Thursday! To my credit I actually was fairly calm at work and actually worked until about 3 pm, the hour before I left, then I started bouncing in my chair and couldn't stay focused!! I finally got off work at 4 pm and ran home to try and squeeze the last few things into my bag before Dr Avery picked me up. He was my chauffeur for the day and did an excellent job! (Minus the whole making me carry my bag downstairs. but whatever!)

Anyways, if you know me at all then you know I take truck pictures pretty much anytime I am in a vehicle with someone else. Dr Avery to his credit put up with that even though he gave me some crazy eyes. Gotta work on that!
He looks a bit more normal here but I'm struggling. Such is life!
We stopped at Sonic on the way to the airport and he got his FIRST TASTE of Sonic!! This is him after I said YOU HAVE SONIC FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! LOOK EXCITED!! No comment.

I will say this was the first time I have gotten a cherry limeade and not even drank half of it!!! Note to self never order a Sonic M&M Blast AND a Cherry Limeade at the same visit. Too much sweetness. Blah!
FINALLY!! Hours later Caca and I were together!! REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD!!! She gave me such a huge hug when I got there it was awesome!!! I think this is my favorite picture from the whole time because we were just SO HAPPY to see eachother and finally be together! I have missed her so much!!

Stay tuned for more vacation blogs and the story that deserves its own post of how I was humiliated on my first flight in front of the entire plane. Its a don't miss!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
