Random Pinks

I met my Mommy over lunch on Pink Weds, and for once she was wearing Pink! I was so proud! It may look like I'm wearing Purple but my Cardigan and shirt are both Pink. I got them from my Bro and SIL for my bday and I love them! So festive!!
Tuesday night I finally got to see what Katie Marie had made me for my Birthday. She had teased me saying she was making it and that she had to go to the hardware store for supplies. Needless to say I was intrigued! She made me this super cool picture holder out of an old mirror that Sammy had broken awhile back! She took it apart and used the frame. I thought that was pretty cool! (and yes that is a Christmas Tree floor mat you see on my floor in March.)

I will say though when she had me close my eyes and put my hands over my face so I could be surprised because it was too big to wrap I was a tad worried. I asked her, Can I carry this up three flights of stairs? Oh the joys of living on the third floor! Thankfully it wasn't THAT heavy and I did just fine!

And the craziest thing is that she just came up with this idea!! She is so crafty! I was so impressed and I seriously love it!!! Now to find the perfect place!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
