7 Quick Takes

1. This has been a super long week at work gearing up for the Semester to start on Monday. I plan on spending Friday night to Sunday morning on my couch in my pj's.

2. It's really hard to do my hair when I wear glasses instead of my contacts. I can't see to dry my hair without my contacts in, so the resulting blind hair do is always interesting.

3. I'm excited to hook up my wireless (hopefully) this weekend and get my Roku going so I can FINALLY cancel my cable and say BYE BYE BYE to Comcrap!!!

4. One of our teachers told me I looked cool the other day. I don't know when I've ever looked cool in my 29 years of life!

5.  I have 11 sticky notes on my desk currently.

6. I am in slight despair because I can't find VS Beauty Rush Lip Balm on their website. I use it every night and usually buy 3 or 4 of them on sale at a time, so it's been almost a year since I've bought any. But now I'm out and I can't find them anywhere! :(

7. I am on the slow start to cleaning out my apt before I move this July. I got rid of my recliner last week and now I have a beautiful empty space in my bedroom. Makes me so happy!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
