wwiw-Birthday Edition!

And here we are again for another week of wwiw-what i wore wednesday, hosted by the pleated poppy!
I'm noticing as I take my pictures what I can improve on in my outfits. Slowly but surely! Here we have last Thursdays outfit. I got the skirt at Target the night before for 2.00!!!!!!!! I added a gold and green necklace, but I think it needs more color than that.
The next time I wear it, i am going to pair my j crew turquoise bubble necklace, and hopefully a colored cardigan. Just have to find the perfect color first! But I think it's a so so outfit that has major cute potential!

Yes I am holding a small hammer. Sunday my parents came to church with me, and then we had a small birthday lunch and party at my house. I LOVED my outfit but didn't get great pics of it. I had super cute turquoise beaded earrings on that my Grams had given to me.
I had Mom take 2 quick pictures while my Dad was in the other room not paying attention. He HATES my camera. And gets pretty annoyed when I get it out. So it had to be fast.
I LOVVVEEE My cowboy boots, got them at Target, and after not wearing any sort of a heel for years I was afraid they would be uncomfortable but they are soo soft and springy! I feel like Tigger when I walk in them, I just bounce up and down!

Here we have Monday's outfit. I struggled taking pictures that day. I think I need some new jeans. I'm not loving how mine are fitting in pictures. The top was super sparkly and I actually got it at Meijer of all places. Completely by a fluke, I took a short cut to the grocery section and happened to wander by the clothes and saw this top.
Monday was also the day Dog N Suds opened for the season, so you KNOW I had to go get some! I'm needing some new sunglasses. Not in love with these.

Picture of my OPI nails that I love!!!
My sweater is bunched weird, please ignore that! This is me today on my Birthday!!!
Me and my Fireman Madi. She's decked out for Pink Wednesday as well!
My Birthday gift to myself, these pink old man shoes that were on clearance at Target! So cute and sooo comfy!!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
