What's Up Wednesday- Better late than never edition!

What I'm eating this week:
This is what happens when you are pokey on writing  your WUW post. I can't remember! I know I made my Mom's baked Spaghetti last week, as well as my new favorite chicken taco soup. Other than that I don't remember!

What I'm reminiscing about:
Nothing that I can think of.

What I'm Loving:
I am loving that I think it is finally done snowing in the stated of Indiana! WAHOOO!!

What I've been up to:
Work, work, and more work!
Last week I also went and visited Jboz at her new house, which was super exciting! I LOVE her home! It's so beautiful and I got to hold Kohen and get my snuggles in. I miss him already!

What I'm dreading:
I know this is ridiculous, but I'm 2 episodes of finishing Monk on amazon prime and I'm sad! Does anyone else feel like that when they finish a series? I'm not sure what took me so long to watch this series, but I love it!

What I'm working on:
Well, I went garage saling on Friday so I'm working on putting everything away and organizing. I'm also determined to finish and hang up the scripture wall art that I started an embarrassingly long time ago.

What I'm Excited about:
Summer!!! And the Free Massage clinic! Man, I can't wait!!

What I'm Watching/Reading:

I just finished a really powerful book. "Born Survivors" by Wendy Holden. It's about the lives of three women who were in the Holocaust and they found themselves Pregnant. I don't think it's a spoiler alert to say that all three babies lived. The book details their lives before Hitler came into power, and what happened when their countries began to fall. It was powerful. You almost think you are reading fiction because the horrors of what they, and millions of other men and women experienced are so mind boggling. But in fact, it was real. It was their reality, and they lived through it. I highly recommend this book. It will make you emotional, it will make you sick to read what happened, but I think it's important. And very well told.

What I'm listening to:
Right now silence, but lately it has been the birds chirping outside! Such a beautiful sound! A not so beautiful sound, all the lawn mowers. That start up RIGHT WHEN I OPEN MY WINDOWS. #AllergicToGrass #FondOfBeingAlive

What I'm Wearing:

My new shoes from Sears are on repeat. If I"m fancy enough I'll insert a link here. If there's no link, I got lazy :) Seriously though, they are like walking on air!

I'm on day two of my Lane Bryant Jeans that I scored at Salvation Army last fall. My Mom took them in for me and now they fit great!

What I'm doing this weekend:

I actually have plans! Friday starts Garage Sale Season for my Mom and I! We are hitting up a local churches rummage sale and then who knows where we will end up! There is a furniture store I would like to check out so we might go there as well.

Sunday is my Team's turn to serve the 5'th Sunday so I will be at church serving!

What I'm looking forward to next month:

Seeing my Snugglemuffin and Lovemuffin!!!!!!!

And my ultimate favorite neighborhood garage sale is May 18/19! I am SO excited for that one!!! We always find lots of deals there! I'm hoping this year it's not pouring rain like last year.

What else is new:
Nothing that I can think of!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
