That awkward moment when you think you blogged but really just uploaded the pictures. Whoops. I'm going to try and remember this week, as it feels like it was ages ago!

That Monday a book I was sent to review by one of my fave authors finally arrived. Right before I had to teach. Oh the struggle!! All I wanted to do was read but alas Adulting.

In more Adulting DG finally had the updated planners out. I was glad they did as I had things to write down for August! This is a 2.00 planner that I am on year 3 of purchasing. I love that it has spots for every day because I have to write out the times and names of students to know who is coming when.
On that Thursday I had to get my allergy shot, and then had a little bit of time between that and my chiro apt. So I decided to stop at Sonic for a cherry limeade. I just missed happy hour which was a crying shame. But the Cherry limeade was still delicious!!
And of course since I was at the chiro I had to take a picture with the bird painting. My Mom hates birds and isn't fond of these paintings. So like any good daughter i send her pics like above telling her that her "friends" say hi. :)

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
