37/52 The Nephews come to visit!

Two weeks ago Snugglemuffin and Lovemuffin were here in IN, and we met up to go to JD Day At Purdue! The picture above puts a smile on my face everytime I see it! Lovemuffin was having some issues with his borrowed sunglasses from big brother. They didn't quit fit his face. But boy does he look cute in them!!
Despite his sunglass issues he was living his best life.
So I got a selfie stick because there is an extent to how far my arms can stretch when we're doing group pics. but it was super bright outside so none of us could see anything on my phone screen. So I snapped away hoping for a decent picture or two.
Meanwhile Snugglemuffin was making all of his faces.
And I had no clue. Story of my life!
Tried for a picture of the three of us and Lovemuffin is waving! HA! So cute!
Sweetest little nephew! He looks SOOOOOOOOOO much like my brother as a child in this pictures. Its crazy!! Right down to the JD hat :)
On the walk back to the parking garage he held my hand. And I almost lost it. hahahah To have him not just tolerate me, but actually love me now and climb all over me like his brother did (does!) is almost more than my auntie heart can handle! I'm so glad he doesn't think i'm a serial killer anymore!!
One of my piano moms gave me a gift card and it made my day! So sweet!!
Post church selfie sunday with not one, but two drinks. My left over Dunkin Donuts coffee that I drank during church, and the taco bell drink that came with my running errands after church lunch.
Despite it still being blazingly hot I have been decorating for fall. I put this cute little thing together in my kitchen and I love it!
My Mom gave me a himalayan pink salt lamp. I'm not sure if it actually does anything but it's really pretty and rather soothing!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

9/52

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
