44/52

Lots of catching up to do on the blog!

We start off with week 44. I tried to go early vote (for the 3'rd time) and they had closed the day before. Ugh. I swore the date was Sunday but I was wrong.

So no early voting for me, but I did find this glass pumpkin candy jar on a crazy clearance. I paid 1.00 for it!! I was excited!

Wednesday was Halloween! I was a "Holy Cow" credit goes to one of my students for the idea. Sadly she was the only student who "got" what I was. I kept having to explain it.

I mean, at least I have an outfit for Chik Fil A day now........ :)
I added a cowbell after my Mom informed me I needed one to look legit.
She also told me this hilarious saying after I sent her a picture of my outfit so I had to add it to my chalkboard!
Speaking of my Mom, I FINALLY got to give her, her birthday presents and anniversary present when she came to town that Friday!
Sunday dawned bright and COLD, and I drank some delicious Dunkin Donuts coffee out of my piano mug.

I was extra excited for church that day because we started our new series based on the Tv show This is Us! I love that show and I love Jesus so I was PUMPED for the combination! It did not disappoint!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

So I'm doing my best to get these weekly wrap up's done on Monday each week. Today has been a DOOZY. It's 9 pm and I am just now sitting down to check email and such. So if this post isn't the most well written, you'll understand once you read next week's wrap up about today!  In happier news we started off last week with my BIIIIRRRTTHHHDAAAYYYYY!!! And nothing says your Birthday like watching One Tree Hill and eating a piece of ice cream cake with lunch. Spoiler alert, I had a piece of Ice Cream cake every single day last week.  The chalkboard was updated, but sadly none of my pictures with said chalkboard looked decent.  I rocked my Be-You-Tiful shirt and a new necklace my Mom had given me.  And then I had a little photo session in the piano room with my balloons. Because, it was my birthday. and I was alone. So why not!  This is pretty much me in a nutshell... :)  Normally, I try to get work done before students arrive...
