 I ran to Target after church last week and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they still had Christmas Clearance items! I made out like a bandit in the dollar spot! I got this super cute pillow which was marked down to 90 cents!!  They were also selling these glasses? Not sure why, apparently you only need to be hydrated at Christmas time? I bought 3 of them, 2 for makeup in my bedroom, and then I created this cute little pretty thing for my desk. Oh yes, and they were only 30 cents!  After I created one pretty thing for my desk I decided to do more! So I grabbed this small little candle holder..  And then I found a Mason Jar and rigged up this cute thing. I thought it looked very wintery and snow life!  New Years Eve Day I was a busy busy girl! So I realized I blogged about Benjamin but not about our overall trip to Iowa! So here is how we spent our New Years, better late than never right?! We headed out early Friday morning. Here is our packed truck. FYI the presents in that box all hit me in the head when Dad had to skam on the breaks. Youch. My little spot! Ahahah this picture cracks me up! I was SO tired, my eyes are like half open!!! hahaha We drove through some crazy thunderstorms untill about an hour away from Kev's and tehn it got very foggy. It was pretty though, fog on farmland.. When the roads start to be named John Deere, you are very close! :) The Pavillion has TONS of cool JD stuff but its pretty expensive. :( WELCOME TO IOWA!!! YAYS!! I was SOOOO excited at this point!! Ok so I'm a few days behind on my New Years Eve happenings, but oh well!!! This year I actually had PLANS for NYE! Shocking, yes I know! I spent it with my dear friend Katie and her family. (well we got rid of her hubby at 9:30 when he had to work and the kids went to bed then as well) Katie and Robert made an amazing dinner of enchilladas and fajhitas.. oh heavens were those fajhitas GOOD!! (and now looking at that I think i'm mispelling it, but i really don't care!!) After dinner we did something I have never done before. Thats right, we played video games! Its hard to believe but in my 26 almost 27 years of life I have NEVER played a video game. It was great fun, even though I lost and lost and lost some more. Getting beat by a 4 yr old.. Rather hard on the ego!! I ended up staying at Katie's untill after 2 am, its amazing how Starbucks and Two Mt Dews can keep you going for awhile!! :) We had tons of fun though and it was nice just to do something low key and get in...
