47/52

Well this week was a HUGE improvement over the week before!! Of course after food poisoning anything would be an improvement, and I had two days off of work! Booyah! Monday morning I was up bright and early and ran over to my hairstylists for a quick trim and thin before coming back home to straighten my hair and teach 9 students. Monday is a LONG and busy day.  Tuesday I put on my pirate shirt, and kept my hair straight and headed out to my first of 4 Holiday concerts at MB! The residents REALLY liked Rudolph, and all of the other Christmas music I played!  Wednesday my hair was still cleanish, so I took advantage of one more day of not having to wash my hair. It really saves a lot of time when I don't wash my hair in the shower and then have to comb the tangles out and put in product and let it air dry and then blow dry it. Oh the travails of having curly hair.  It was fun to have a different look, but I was still doing a double take when I wou...

#Thanksgiving2013

So I realized I should do my Thanksgiving post before it became Christmas.  I had a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with my entire family at my parents farm. This little boy showed up, and wait.. WHEN DID HE BECOME A LITTLE BOY???!! Look how long he is! I mean, I know we're tall people, but good grief! (Sidenote: He thinks it's hilarious that I say Good Grief and tries to copy me. However he corrects me that it's GrieP not GrieF. We go back and forth on this, it's a treat to watch/hear let me tell you. After 3 days.. he was still convinced it was Good GrieP) We celebrated his 3'rd birthday while he was in Indiana and I can't believe it's been 3 years.  I love my table buddy!! The most precious moment happened on Friday. Snugglemuffin prayed for lunch for the two of us, and then for the first time he prayed for our family dinner that evening. I nearly went into the ugly cry. I love seeing him grow up and change and develop, but the most important thing a...

Once we got there, we made a pit-stop at Whitey's home to the BEST ice cream you could ever dream of! I had a very cherry smoothie it was soooooo good!! We got to their house and Grampy played in Benjamin's box. Mr B wasn't quite sure what to think of that.. Mr B LOVES his eeyore!!! He loves on it and lays his head down, it's sooo sweet! this picture with grampy in the box in the background cracks me up!! Stinker face!! A road worn Auntie and Snugglemuffin!! This could be why he likes Grampy better than Auntie! I was growling at him. He liked it. I promise. The one decent picture of me and my boy! I just LOVE him!! hahaha drunk face. one day he will kill me for these pictures. But i'm safe for now! I think this is such a precious picture! Mommy was putting on Yogi Bear, and Benjamin was helping her out! Friday I was SOOOOOO excited...
