7 Quick Takes

1. Today I was stoked to see Danny Gokey's new Video! It brought tears to my eyes and gave me goosebumps!! Watch it HERE!!

2. I have learned that apparently I have fingers of steel because I can bend paperclips into art form. I can also do initals! With squirly pretties!!

3. My mind always goes blank when its time for me to post 7 Quick Takes. I don't know whats wrong with me! truthfully my mind has been struggling for a few weeks! I need some ginko or something!

4. Apparently I have a very distinctive walk. According to Jessica and Apes at least. They say they can hear me coming from the elevator. I try to tip toe down the hallway but I look like a fool and they can still hear me! I blame being in all of the Vespers/ect at PCC for my Walk With Purpose.

5. I think I might watch Valentines day tonight if I can find it at Redbox. I refuse to pay more than 1.07 for a movie! I want to see When in Rome as well. I guess we'll find out what they have!!

6. I can't decide if I"m hungry and actually want food or just want to think about food? My stomach has been egregious this week and I haven't been eating much. I like the thought of eating right now but not so sure i actually want to do it! That smoothie I had for lunch should last me for awhile, shouldn't it?

7.Its 92 degrees outside. Its officially summer. And I am officialy going to have to find somewhere else to eat my lunch than my truck. WAY too hot!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
