1. When I get a fountain drink I NEVER take the lid on the top of the pile. I always get one from the middle. I don't know why. I guess I think it has germs on it or something? 2. I may or may not have thought my computer was broken because all of the sudden my Internet Explorer had very tiny fonts and writing. I may or may not have contemplated calling IT for help untill I realized I had inadvertantly changed the zoom level from 100% to 75%. 3. My Aunt visited me in the office today. It was cool to see her! She is a hoot! 4. I am officially obessed with leggings. It is not my fault though. I blame it on Fashion Bug having the buy one get one half off sale. Two pairs of leggings for 14 bucks? STEAL! 5. I am going to paint my nails bright, obnoxious, neon pink tonight. 6. I am on a healthy life, healthy eating kick. Yeah, we'll see how long this lasts!! 7. I am beyond excited to have my first weekend totally free in months. I am holing up and not going anywhere or doing anything

So Today I rocked the straight hair and the feathery pink and pastel headband that my favorites got me! Very festive I got alot of compliments! I am ready to have my curly hair back though. I mess with it so much more when its straight and now that its to the bottom of my neck by 3:30 i'm like OFF!! GET OFF ME!! PONYTAIL!! I have also decided that I really like outside light pictures. So my next goal is to rig up something that I can take my outfit pictures on my balcony. Ummm.. yeah.. that could take awhile. Don't hold your breath!! Today was the first Weds night I have had free all semester. Our Woman's Bible Study at church ended last week :( and while I'm sad not to meet and share and learn with that awesome group of women every week it is nice to be able to come home from work and not head straight to church and be gone for a few more hours.

I realized while talking to Caca today I never really blogged about my surgery or said anything about it. I guess the Demerol had longer lasting effects than I thought!! Well I don't remember much after being in the OR untill really the next morning was when it all un fuzzed but everything leading up to my surgery was totally from God. I was so thankful to have all of my friends and bible study ladies praying for me. I could not have had a better experience at the hospital!! Which was awesome because last year was really bad. I was blessed with an AWESOME AWESOME nurse!! Tammy, who was a Christian, Homeschooling her kids and wanting to send them to Ivy! Needless to say by the time my other nurse wheeled me to the OR Tammy and I were totally BFF!! She was really nice and chatty but worked while she chatted and really did a great job of distracting me from what was going on. I still did ALMOST freak out about the IV, but she was awesome enough that I was able to explain to her about

In my quest to update my wardrobe with pieces I allready have and mixing a few new pieces in, I invested in a pair of leggings which I LOVE! Never thought I'd say that but i do, I love them!! I paired them with a dress that I always felt uncomfortable in because i felt like it was too short... Yes, thats the pcc in me, middle of the knee sitting or standing! *gag* so I wore it with my leggings and threw on a denim jacket. I felt quite festive! and comfy!

1. Coming home to a mailbox with US Weekly and People Style!! 2. Looking forward to dinner with Katie and the bubbies on Weds night since bible study is done, I am a free woman weds pm!! 3. Working with April, we play so well off of eachother with our strengths and weaknesses and we have so much fun while we do it! I laugh so much with her!! 4. My Students. I lurve them. I really do! 5. Doing Yoga for the first time in a while since I feel better now!! Well at least I did before I did yoga! HA! 6. Hair long enough for a ponytail that doesn't look like a sprout. 7. Rainy weekends. I have been looking forward to this weekend for SO LONG!! The great Kass was in town for a conference at Emster's church and we managed to convince Jennifer and Jenny Nenny to come meet up with us! We call ourselves the PCC Misfits as only one of us actually graduated! Ahhh PCC, the memories!! So we had a PPARRRRTTAAYYYY at O'Charley's tonight!! The food was great, the kids were adorable, and it was great to all be together and chat!! We all talk to each other everyday online, but it was nice to meet up in person!! I <3>

1. I am SUPER SUPER SUPER Excited for our PCC girls reunion dinner tomorrow night! Several of my pcc girls are meeting up with me and Emily for dinner, I can't wait!! 2. And to add to that I totally bought a new outfit to wear! I went to fashion bug looking for a top, found one on clearance and decided to look for some leggings as well (my SIL ROCKS THEM so I wanted a pair!) they were super cheapo so I was able to get a whole outfit with accessories for less than the regular price of the shirt! I love clearances!!! 3. Speaking of shopping, Apes and I traded coupons today at work, and I got a 10.00 off at Kohls. I got a nice pair of jeans, fancy ones, originally 45 bucks for guess what... 7 dollars!! WOOT!! Now that I have two nice pairs of jeans I can finally throw away the jeans i've had since my Kelly Days... They have seen better days!! YEARS AGO!! 4. My Bro and SIL were in town for a business trip Thursday and Friday, and before we all headed home to the farm Friday night for a family weekend, I gave Liz a mini tour of Lafayette. Thursday she picked me up for lunch and we went to Dog N Suds. Mmmmm.. sooo yummy!! Despite a brief moment of fear whether their monster truck was actually going to fit at the drive up, it fit and we had a great time! They have the comfiest vehicle for hanging out in! The front seat is HUGE and you can curl up and still have plenty of room. Man I wish my truck was like that I could take a SERIOUS nap at lunchtime!!! That evening Kev went out with his work peeps and Liz and I headed to Arni's for dinner. I had been craving Arni's for quite some time. I don't think I've had it all year so it was time! We had a great time and great food, and she is addicted now as well!! Great conversation as well, we stayed for two hours! I love having family that are my best friends that we can share whateve

1. Being able to have not only lunch but also dinner with my SIL on Thursday!! 2. The ability to share whats on my heart with April and feel SO much better afterwards! 3. The people I work for/with I love them!! 4. That my whole hair goes up into a pony tail! 5. Looking forward to a PCC girls reunion next weekend!! 6. I love my students, I really do. I have two paticular ones that just light up the office everytime they come in. They will wave and scream my name as they paass by on their way to class, just to say Hi. I adore them! They have branded themselves as THE FAVORITES and I am THEIR FAVORITE, its so cute. Today I was sitting at my desk working and they came in with huge smiles and a cute giftbag. for me! I asked them what it was for and they said because I was Their Favorite! I opened it up to find these two cute and TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS AND THEREFORE TOTALLY ME!! headbands. They had been shopping together, saw them and thought of me. I adore those girls.

Ok with my laptop being repaired we missed a few weeks of blogging so I'm going to pick up on a lesson a few weeks ago and then skip to the one we did last night. I have really been wanting to blog about this and share whats on my heart and everytime I have tried to, even tonight I have been distracted by Satan and have had annoyances and haven't been able to do it. Well we are going to push through it tonight!! I was really convicted about this lesson. One of my greatest struggles, well really probably the greatest struggle I face is my need for control. My need for control and wanting to do/get what I want to do and what I think is right. So often I don't seek God's leading and go off on my own. And when i see that maybe his plan isn't what I have laid out and I just don't see it working I throw that to the side and go do what I want to do. So I went to go look at the town house today.. Umm.. yeah.. for one thing it helps when the leasing agent actually SHOWS UP to show you the place. for the other thing it helps if the said town house is not located in what seems to be the ghetto surrounded by sketchy people... Needless to say I got out of there! So it looks like I'm back to living in a cardboard box underneath the bridge. Not sure which bridge, I guess I"ll have to find one?! I do have a lead on an apt that looks like its not in a sketchy area, and is a decent price for a good amount of space. Sounds to good to be true, doesn't it? Yeah we'll see! In the meantime I am hanging out at my soon to be former apt listening to the sounds of my annoying upstairs neighbor, his child that he has part time, and his parents who come over to help him and appear to be hard of hearing because his mother is yelling everything. How Hot is my Mom looking?! She has been working out 6 days a week (sometimes 7!!) for several months and has gotten sooooo skinny!!! Pics don't do her justice she is even skinnier in person!! I am so proud of her! And I am also proud that I am finally rubbing off on her, can we all just take a minute and appreciate the big purse she is carrying?! Thats my influence! :) Although in a few pictures you will see her own style within it..... And how fabulous are these shoes?! I was DYING over these DYING!! they have a ruffle on them! A RUFFLE! ON A HEEL! HOTTNESS!!! So now we get to the inside of the purse. Mom was so proud to show me that she made an ORGANIZER/DIVIDER for her purse. Me this morning before we headed to church. Somehow I was ready way before time to leave so what else to do but take pictures? Me and Grams on our way to church in the truck!! Everyone just LOVES my truck pics!! I may be 28 years old but I still get an Easter basket! Although my Mom made me empty the basket and leave it with her. She wouldn't let me take it! Stinker. Speaking of my Mom, Grams was trying to get our feet in the pics so I threw my leg up in a kick to help her out. This pic was taken as Mom was mid kick trying to get my foot down. :) I'm now safely back at my ap, unpacked and getting ready for the work week! I REALLY hope it doesn't rain all Saturday and that I can sit outside on the porch swing at my parents and enjoy the outdoors. (and not get my butt wet because that happens everytime it rains and I always forget) 3. My hair is seriously expanding in this warmer weather. When I came home I had a near afro. 4. So the past few weeks have been CRAZY!! I've been so busy and sadly my laptop has been sick. It had to go to the hospital so I've been drive by blogging for the past two weeks. Thank goodness it is back and better than ever!! While it was sickly I was able to get alot done at home! I have been spring cleaning and preparing for when I move this summer. I'm trying to get rid of stuff I don't need/want. I also read several books! Lisa Scottoline and Sophie Kinsella. I highly recommend both!! Now that I've got the reading bug again I've actually been going out at lunchtime and reading in my vehicle. Ever since Spring Break its been nice and warm outside and being stuck inside at lunchtime is just not on my to do list. So I go outside, run an errand or two, and then park and read in my truck with my windows down. Its really relaxing. I've also had at least one migraine a week No clue why. My neck has been out so bad, I have been at the Chiropractor hmm... 4 time
