1. Have I mentioned lately how much I <3> 2. I have revived Summer Friday Movie nights! Tonight its "The Backup Plan". I know it isn't an oscar worthy movie but hey, I love cheesy!! 3. This is my last weekend at my apt for like 3 weeks! Crazy! Then I'll be back for one weekend and then jetting off to North Carolina to see my Caca!! CAN'T WAIT!! 4. My two bestie's will be hanging out tomorrow night and I am stuck here in Indiana! :( Caca is in FL for a wedding and it turns out she's an hour away from Kim so they are spending the night at Kim's tomorrow night and having a fun little time. So last night I had alot of time of my hands so I decided to take a walk on the wild side and straighten my hair! I was actually really wanting to cut my hair yesterday its hit the spot on my neck that drives me crazy and i have it up in a pony tail by 2pm at the latest everyday. But after I saw how long its gotten straight I have been strengthened to KEEP GROWING!! I really don't recognize myself when i look in the mirror or look at these pics. Its super weird! I guess I'm just so used to seeing myself with my curly 'fro! I did get alot of compliments and double takes today so that was cool! I think it might stick around for one more day if it isn't too icky.

We have some new additions to the family! These two precious little calves came home to the farm this week! Aren't they just ADORABLE??!??!?!? I just want to pet their little heads! They are so tiny we have to bottle feed them. Well, by We I mean my family at the farm, i lucked out being an hour away! but I look forward to feeding them over labor day! its so fun to feed a calf a bottle! and very entertaining! I could literally just die from the cuteness! Aren't they just so precious???!! I love calves they are so cute and tiny and wobbly and alot cleaner than older cows. Well, ok not so much when they are born, they are a gross mess then, but after they get cleaned up they just look so clean and fresh and NEW!! I wish I could see them walk on their little wobbly legs. Watching calves walk is so entertaining and cute!!!!! Precious is not too sure what to think of the calves. I think she's alittle ticked off. My faithful three girls sported Pink Weds attire even though they were in scrubs! Such dedication! I love it!! Here we have Unnamed student #789078907 aka Denise :) Sporting her Festive flower clip! These are some of the results of our craft night on Friday!! Sadly I did not get a picture of me and Apes sporting our "Tiara" headbands but here we have the fabulous Missy trying Apes on for size! Everyone needs alittle bit of sparkle with their scrubs. True story. Doesn't she look cute!! And here I am sporting my lighter blue one! by 2:30 my hair was up in a pony tail. Really it was a miracle it lasted that long. I really enjoyed making these, I think every female I know is going to get a headband ala Cherrybear for Christmas :)

Apes and I had a girls movie night/craft night on Saturday!! She brought over some yummy spaghetti which we enjoyed for dinner and then we attempted to watch a chick flick. I say attempted because we made it 10 mins in and she looked at me and said, Do you want to go get ice cream? I replied, and ditch this horrible movie? um, YES!! I had a clue when there weren't any previews on the DVD that might be a bad sign. Indeed it was!! So we went to DQ and got some ice cream and sat outside and talked for about two hours untill it got dark. It was SO relaxing!! It was a beautiful evening with a perfect breeze, ice cream and good friends, really what more can you want? Finally around 9 pm we came back to my place and got our craft on!! Apes took a plain picture frame she had and added beads, rhinestones and a heart with ribbon to accentuate her beautiful bridal shot!! SO pretty! This picture totally cracks me up! Its SO me and Em!! hahaha.. Doesn't she look fabulous?! Seriously! 7 mos preggo and totally hottie pattottie!! The quilt my Mom made for little Madelyn Faith!! So Amy has something wrong with her head (Which we've always known!) so she had to sport an EKG thingy on her noggin for several days this week. She sent me this cell pic and i laughed for a minute straight. She looks like a pissed off female version of Eminem. I actually got a gold tooth at the dentist yesterday. I'm pretty sure between the two of us we could make quite a successful rap duo. A career move to think about for sure. I shared this with Apes today and awhile later as I was working away and bopping along to Vanilla Ice on Pandora she suddenly busts out laughing and asked me if I was beginning to work on my raps for my new career. Turns out Notorious B.I.G was playing and she found it rather amusing. :) I informed her that while I may have absolutely no pigment to my skin I still have a little ghetto inside of me.. 1. We successfully made it through non-instructional week! granted the emergency candy stash was taken out several times a day, but minor detail!! 2. I GOT MY CAMERA!!! So I have been a bad blogger and haven't blogged since last week! EEPS!! Sorry!! Since it is SO stinkin hot here in Indiana, almost 100 today! I decided to put my hair up today. I just couldn't take it anymore. I love having my hair longer but since its so stinking thick my neck gets really hot!! So I put it up today and I was pleasantly surprised on how festive it looks!! BONUS- it only took 3 mins!! WOOT!!

1. Today is my LAST day ALONE in the office!!! I am sooo excited for Apes to come back this weekend! I miss her so much!! 2. I noticed that anytime I lay down on a pillow I have to lift my hair and fan it out above my head. I absolutely cannot lay down on my hair. It almost hurts!! 3. Today I am sporting some of my festive new eye shadow! I think I finally found the perfect shade of brown that can be dressed up or fairly natural! And wow do I have a Jay Leno chin in that picture!! And I finally got some decent hair product that is actually working with the frizz!! I realized this morning that if I didn't have to do my hair I would save so much time in the morning! And I don't even spend that much time on it compared to other girls. But when you add in having to put leave in conditioner on it before you comb so the tangles aren't as bad, combing through the mess, then putting curl mousse and gel cream on it. Not to mention blow drying it juuust right to where its still damp but not dripping and then straightening the bangs and shellacking the whole thing with hairspray. Have I mentioned lately my love of Walgreens? Because I really do love them. Especially when they have Register Rewards and I come away with all of these products and only spend 2.36 out of pocket! Did I mention that I got 8.00 of RR's back with these as well? I would have spent less than a dollar if I hadn't have gotten the chocolate which FYI not very good. I am a Hershey's girl till the end! I am LOVING my Loreal HIP Eyeshadow its really the only shadow that stays well on my weird oily eyelids. Everything else slides off. And yes, that is my flip flopped foot under my glass table. :)

So I miss April. So much that I had to print off a picture of her and put it in her chair. People laughed at me but it really does make me feel ( a little) better!! Three more work days without her!! Last Friday I met Emboz and the bump for our August Ladies who Lunch! We met at Christos and it was mm mmm yummy! Look how TINY Emboz is!! She is 7 mos preggo!! You totally can't tell from the back, except when she walks :) So cute!! You can't even tell with her sitting down at a booth either! Disgusting! The waitress came by to take our drink orders and asked where the third person was. We're like what third person? and she said she swore there were three of us! I said, well there are if you count the baby in her tummy!! She just looked at me. I tell you no one gets my wit!

I am about to introduce you to something that I found quite intrguing. As we went through Logansport we passed the ZIP THRU. A drive through convenience store! I KNOW! I had never heard of such a thing either!! And look! They had a line!! a line people!!! I was just flabbergasted. Luckily my picture taking did not suffer from my flabbergasted-ness. They have bait! 1. Everyday when I get home and before I go to bed I check my shower to see if there is anyone in it. Yes I'm paranoid, and No i'm not sure how they would sneak past me to get in my shower to hide and kill me after I've been home for hours. 2. I have a nervous tic or maybe just a bad habit, of smoothing back my bangs and re-tucking them behind my ears. I only noticed that this week when I pulled my hair all back and didn't have any bangs. After we left the Reception Katie and I headed to McDonalds to change our clothes.
