Monday, all I remember is that my Mom came to town and graciously mowed my lawn because #Allergic, and I made her Spaghetti Bake casserole for the first time and it was yummy!  Tuesday was an exciting mail day when not one, but two pairs of shoes arrived from Sears!  These sneaker ballet flats are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. And I have now purchased a white pair because they are just SO COMFY.  Wednesday I was caffeinated and ready to take on my 8 students of the day!  I was also sporting the most comfy shoes ever and my lane bryant salvation army jeans! WHOO HOO  After teaching 8 students. The work is not done, just because students are gone. I worked on my computer for a few hours until finally calling it a day.  Thursday I was up bright and early to do alll the things. I had a much needed haircut- thin and shape and my hair is so much lighter now! After my cut I hurried home to straighten it, and then headed off to see....

What's Up Wednesday- Better late than never edition!

What I'm eating this week: This is what happens when you are pokey on writing  your WUW post. I can't remember! I know I made my Mom's baked Spaghetti last week, as well as my new favorite chicken taco soup. Other than that I don't remember! What I'm reminiscing about: Nothing that I can think of. What I'm Loving: I am loving that I think it is finally done snowing in the stated of Indiana! WAHOOO!! What I've been up to: Work, work, and more work! Last week I also went and visited Jboz at her new house, which was super exciting! I LOVE her home! It's so beautiful and I got to hold Kohen and get my snuggles in. I miss him already! What I'm dreading: I know this is ridiculous, but I'm 2 episodes of finishing Monk on amazon prime and I'm sad! Does anyone else feel like that when they finish a series? I'm not sure what took me so long to watch this series, but I love it! What I'm work

Last week started off with cold temps again. It was a bit of a rude awakening since Thursday of the prior week had me in shorts and sandals. Sigh. Back to boots and leggings...  One of my students had a birthday and she brought a new "friend" with her to piano lessons. I loved where she placed him! It was rather hilarious to look up there and see a stuffed animal peeking out between her music.  HA!  Wednesday I wore my #pearlsforbarbara to honor the life of our former First Lady.  And I also snacked on the most DELICIOUS sugar cookie from Mary Lou's! If you're from around here you know that Mary Lou's has seriously good doughnuts. but I had no idea they had cookies and other items! Until a student told me! I thought he had the name of the shop wrong. HA! Alas he was correct on the name and also correct on their deliciousness. I regretted only buying two.  Thursday was an exciting mail day. Yes, that is a lazy neck cell phone holder, and I l

Any guesses where I started off my day at? The Dentist! And, It snowed. Seems about right for my life. Thankfully nothing terrible happened at the Dentist this time, I just needed a refill of my antibiotics and the Dentist gave me a steroid for the inflammation, since I can't take NSAIDS. (Allergic) So I got up an hour and a half earlier than normal to be ready for the dentist and then my first two students cancelled from sickness. SO I got a lot of stuff done! I took my first steroid pill in the afternoon and was teaching and was still tired and thought, oh these aren't making me as awake as they usually do. Then 8:00 pm hits, my last students leave and I think, hmm.. I think I'll tackle and clean my mess of a laundry room. .......................................................................................................................... I think they were effective. So effective that I didn't fall asleep until 3:45 am

Well I told you about the 6+ inches of snow we got on Easter Sunday. By Monday afternoon it was melted away. This is me around 2ish I think. And a lot of it was gone, By 5 pm it was completely gone!  I wouldn't have left my house but I had to go get allergy shot 2 of 3 thanks to the new vials of goodness.  One of my students Mom's told me about Clove Oil. It's supposed to be really helpful for toothaches and in some cases can help heal them. I figured an Essential oil isn't going to hurt anything so I amazon primed myself a bottle. So apparently when I got it Sunday i didn't put much on as it wasn't bad tasting like my student had warned me. But Monday I got braver and put more on my applicator, and well... this was my face as i was desperately trying to dry it and not swallow the stuff. It tasted like Christmas. Let's just say I would prefer to smell it, vs taste it.  Tuesday I headed out in a deluge of rainfall to a concert. It had been
