Life Lately (According to my phone)

It's the dog days of January and nothing super exciting is going on in my world. I've had a sinus infection for about a week now, so I'm tired and run down. Here's a glimpse of what's been going on.  This has been my uniform this month, leggings, a dress or tunic, and the most comfy, warmest boots known to mankind. Technically they are outside boots, but since I work from home I turned them into slippers. I wear these almost every day.  When January hit and it started to get colder, the mess of students and siblings coats on the floor got to me. One weekend I decided I HAD to make a coat rack. So I took an old piece of wood, painted it the same color as my sofa table, and then put 3M hooks on it. I love how it turned out!  And I might have already blogged about this, so if I did let's just pretend I didn't, ok?  The view from my teaching chair.  With having stitches forever and a day, washing and styling my hair was a chore. What's Up Wednesday!

Let's see if I actually finish and post this on the appropriate day! :) I can't believe it's the end of January! To be honest, I keep thinking that Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming soon. I'm a little confused on what time of year it is! What I'm eating this week: Well, Monday I had a frozen premade dinner from my Momma, Tuesday I got my FAVORITE Pizza ever on the way home from an event. Buck Creek Pizza, oh how I love thee! And Wednesday night Audra and Addie are coming over for Girls Nite and we are having Chicken Fajitas in the crock pot, and salads. Yum!! What I'm reminiscing about: I can barely spell that. Ha! I have been thinking about my birthday and remembering my Grams lately. She passed away two years ago the day after my birthday. Her birthday was the day before mine so we always celebrated together. Last year was the first without her and it was rough. This year, I am actually getting excited for my birthday! But I will still forever

Christmas 2015 Recap Part 2- Snugglemuffin and Lovemuffin come to IN!

The day after Christmas the people we really wanted to see showed up! The Nephews and their parents :) came to Indiana and we were all so excited!! Snugglemuffin loves to open presents and he also loves to help. Every year he helps Nana bring in the presents from under the tree, and I snap a picture of his long legs and wonder how he got so big! I REALLY wondered how he got so big this year, because for the first time instead of having to ask who each present was to, he was able to "read" the tags and figure out the person from the first Initial of their name! I WAS FLOORED. I mean I always knew he was a genius, but seriously! My camera doesn't quite keep up with a busy 5 yr old, so he was having a great time trying to get to me with the gifts before the camera snapped a picture. Snugglemuffin and his fake smile. Love him! I asked him to come over so I could test out my camera without the flash. Opening a gift from Auntie. Still working on it, A
