1. When you read this I will be hours away from leaving for Michigan to see Apes get married! I am so excited for her!! I can't wait to see her walk down the aisle I am going to cry!! 2. Well if you have been paying attention to my twitter feed, you will know that today I found out that I am going to be an Auntie to a precious little baby boy!! I am SO excited to know who is coming now! Now I will start a countdown to the birth!! :) 4 more months!! I'm really happy for my brother, Kevin and my SIL Liz. They will be fabulous parents and I can't wait to watch this new season of life that my big bro is entering into! I started thinking about how weird it was going to be to have a new little member of the family, since its really just us 6 (Mom &Dad, K&L and me and Grams) but then I realized I always thought it would be weird to have a sister in law and my brother be married (seriously, when did we become old enough to get married and have kids??!!) but when K&L got married it really was like finding a missing member of the family! Liz completes our family and now we are going to add a baby to it, the best of K&L and I'm really excited. Honestl

So I have this problem. When I get upset at people and am mad at them, I forget. I have the memory of a cantaloupe when it comes to things like that, so to help me I have created the "Mad List". The Mad List consists of Pink Post it notes stuck to my computer (if the offense is highly egregious) or stuck to my desk calendar. Included on each post it note is the Offender's name/nickname and the offenses or code words to jolt my memory. Sadly this picture is outdated allready as I took it yesterday and Apes has added to her list as has Muy Caliente. They are in a close run for first place I am not sure who is going to pull out ahead at this point. Tomorrow should tell. The offenders seem to find it quite hilarious that I have to take the note down and add their offenses to it. Nefarious little sot's they are!

One day this week (can't remember WHICH!!) I was privileged to have lunch with my friend Lins! We haven't hung out in over a year! She got married and we had opposite work schedules so it was hard to come up with a time where we were both free, and being a newlywed she needed to spend time with the hubster. So this was an exciting day! Lins is such a good friend and a good person, she's one of those people that even though you may not talk every day/week/month whenever you do see eachother its like you've been talking every second of every day. And you know that they would be there for you no matter what, no questions asked. We had a lovely lunch at Christo's. LOVE that place!!! However I didn't realize that it was quite that dark in there or we would have taken a famous self portrait! :) I had such a good time with her and am looking forward to MORE lunch dates because now she has a new job that matches my hours more! YAYS!!

I mean really, do you even have to ask? I will also mention that the icing- Homemade. thats right. One of the 5 things I can make decently is my Momma's buttercream icing and I swear I could have just eaten the whole bowl of it. I asked Apes if she thought anyone would notice if I just licked all of the icing off of the cupcakes and put them on my desk like that. I know I have said this before, but, DUDE. Its hot outside. Like two shower a day hot outside. I don't like cold weather but man alive this heat is about to do me in! Muy Caliente got me these SUPER FESTIVE PINK clips!!!!! I was very excited!!! We are going to make Valerie wear one tomorrow for Pink Weds since she is STILL fighting wearing Pink! Today is Katie Marie's birthday and to celebrate she chose Coldstone Creamery!! Neither of us had really had it before so we were excited!! I had the Oreo Extreme or something like that and its was soooo good! We both got the medium and that was way too much. Next time I go there i'll definitely get a small. 1.Our 3 o clock sway on Thursday was Nat King Cole- When I fall in Love. It was so beautiful that we played it twice and I got teary eyed. 2. I managed to get a super cute tunic on clearance at Target AND they let me use a coupon!!!!! I got it 17.00 cheaper than it was full price!! BOOOYAH!!! 3. I had fake nails on for approximately 2.5 hours Weds. When I tried to take my contacts out I nearly blinded myself. Add that to the fact that I couldn't text, OH THE HORROR!!!! or type very well and I was working on a 112 page document at work, yeah, I totally took them off. 4. Dude. It was HOT outside today. 97 degrees HOT. I thought I was going to lose half my body weight from the sweat. Which would have been nice. Well to lose it, not to sweat, or the smell, that would probably have been pretty bad. But I digress. Ok so we all know I have alot of creative energy just dying to get out. I got some cookie's and cream kisses at Target today, and had high expectations for their yummies. They were not so yummy. Maybe they were to people who like white chocolate but I am not one of those people so I did not enjoy them. I could have just thrown them in my candy buckets on my desk, but that's boring! So I made candy at with them!! And then I had to swat people's hands when they tried to eat it! DON"T EAT THE EYES!! Sheesh..

This is how I found Sam Sam after his nap on Saturday. The First time I checked on him, 2 hours into his nap!! He had one leg on his bed and the other standing and his torso was half on half off. Kid can sleep anyway! Another 30 mins went by and I went to check on him again and found him curled up asleep in his chair. Way too precious!! He woke up and I sat and cuddled with him and rocked him for over 20 mins while he snuggled. It was so precious. I can't wait to rock and cuddle with the Project once it arrives!! I should say that I like the ones I work with but then again they never approach me with a needle or some other equally nefarious object. I went to Dr Brian this week for my 6 month check up. What was a nice, routine visit suddenly turned into a horror story. As he was fixin to leave he suddenly asked me when my last tetanus shot was. Seeing as I can't remember yesterday I had no clue. He said July 7, 2010? I said no, no I don't think so! He totally guilted me into getting it because I had told him that the next time I was in I would bring pictures of my new niece or nephew (he has young kids) He told me that if I was going to be around a baby and be a good and responsible Aunt that I needed to get an updated tetanus shot because the whooping cough was going around as was presimuss? (i have no clue) and while that would just give me a cough it could be very harmful to the baby and they would be hospital bound and possibly could threaten their life. By the time he got done I fe

1. I have discovered that kids are rather stinky. We had some sort of an open house building wide today and there were bazillions of short people running around. None of which smelled too good. 2. On the evening of the Fourth I was lucky to be able to hang out with my good friend Mary! We have known eachother since we were very young. Her parents own a farm near ours, and would come there camping on the weekends. (They live near Chicago) So Mary and I spent many a summer together! It was great to be able to catch up and spend some time together!! The following are just some of my favorite views at our house. Mom gave me this festive tunic when I was home over the weekend and I loved it so much I just had to wear it on Tuesday! Well that and it was very light and leggings felt ok on my legs. More so than dress pants!!

I have posted about my cleaning this week so I thought I would show you the end result!! Keeping it Real- I don't put away my shoes. They are like this all the time. Once in a great while, aka guests, i will put them on the baker's rack with the rest of them, but the most of the time they are out like this. I kick them off when I come in from work and set my purse down on the rack and hang my keys up and when i go to leave in the morning all i have to do is plop my feet into a pair i want! Here is my kitchen. I still need to go through my mail box on the table but the rest is greatly improved!! Ooooo nice clean ORGANIZED counter space!! I love my apt but the counter space is not exactly abundant. Neither is the shelves so its hard to find places for everything! And here is my living room!! So I've been having computer problems for what seems like half of my lifetime now. Tuesday I took my laptop BACK to Best Buy to try and get the wireless fixed while my warranty is still in effect. I went over my lunch break and was praying that I would not get the him/her/it from last time who was really rude to me. I walk in the store and see IT but IT is with someone else. I start fervently praying that this woman has massive issues that he will need to discuss with her for quite some time (i'm really sorry lady in brown, I apologize.) I thought that the Lord was answering my prayer when I see this clearly a man, person heading my way!! HOORAY!!! Some help from a nice person!! Oh he helped me all right. He gave me to IT.
