I can't seem to get this whole blogging every day, or every other day.. apparently my life is just too dull and boring to have something to talk about. I should work on that. In exciting news I am up to 8!! 8!!! followers and I am only related to 2 of them! YESSSSSSS!! If I actually knew how to link their names to their blogs in this post I would tell you all about them, but since I struggle a tad, ok, ALOT, you'll just have to take alittle walk to my followers and go check them out!! In almost as exciting news as that, I DID IT!! Yes, I managed FINALLY to master, um, attempt and not fall flat on my face, (yeah thats more like it) the whole Tour Guide Walking Backwards while talking today. I was SO PROUD of myself!! I am proud to say that after STAR moved to Elliot I have successfully led the group of people to MTW every day this week WITHOUT getting lost. Or taking them to the basement of Elliot. I will however admit that on Monday I did have a brief moment of confusion on which sidewalk to take and started praying furiously for a sign, I looked up and voila University's steeple!! Thank you Purdue for putting a steeple on that building so I know which direction to head. I owe you. Sadly I have not mastered the art of walking backwards while talking and leading my group. Friday night I watched the boys so Katie could take her finals (and I am THRILLED to announce that she GRADUATED!! CONGRATS KATIE MARIE!!) Anyways, Sam Sam and I watched Hotel for Dogs, and when I say watched, I mean had a half of an eyeball on the movie while watching Sammy alternate between bouncing around and actually stopping climbing allover me to watch the movie. (this was pretty much when any puppies were on the screen and he started yelling and waving Hi Puppa Hi Puppa!!!) Halfway through the movie Joey got bored and decided he had had enough of dogs, so he played Sonic on his leap frog. He's very intent. Sam Sam got out his monkey baby and loved on it and fed it, it's banana. its the cutest thing, he hugs it! (and everything soft!) We were singing something here. I forget what we were singing, something in the movie, as you can see little Sam Sam was QUITE into it. Sing it out Sammy!! I love my bubbies

1. I have worn a skirt or dress 3 out of 4 days this week. Almost feel like I'm back at PCC... Except for the lack of hose:) 2. I'm still hungry. My lunch was small. I want more food!! 3. Super excited about my parents coming sunday and going to church with me and then going out to eat! They are afraid I will take another picture of a random strange and embarass them. who? me? tee hee hee 4. I just got called ma'am. WOUNDED. I am WOUNDED. 5. I miss my bubbies. I haven't seen them for a few weeks and am in withdrawls! Thankfully we have a movie night planned for next week! 6. I'm searching for some somewhat comfortable but yet cute gold FLAT shoes for caca's wedding... Anyone have any ideas or tips? Mom and Grams were in town yesterday and they met me at my apt after I got off work and helped me rearrange the furniture in my apt! I think I really like the new set up although its taking some getting used to. It is very nice and clean now though! Here are a few pics of how it looks now. Before everything was on the opposite wall and in different places. And yes I know that my furniture doesn't match. Hand me downs and craiglist, but I love my comfy apt! And yes, those are snowmen on my kitchen table..

Its an exciting time at Purdue these few weeks as we are having STAR and hosting all of the incoming freshman, transfer students and their parents. This morning I was called upon to go meet up with the entire STAR group after the Purdue presentation and lead back our students and their familes across campus to MTHW for our presentation. I was quite excited to be all official and get to meet some of our new students! I made my way to Wetheril, which I had never been to before, and after getting my name screamed out of a vehicle going by Oval Drive, (thanks for scaring the pants off me Mary!) I found my way to the building and wandered around untill I found the auditorium and made my way in to the front and sat down and waited for the presentation to end. It went on longer than expected, although we did sing a rousing rendition of "Hail Purdue" which I can't help it, it gets me every time. The Black and Gold just starts flowing through my veins when that song comes on!! So

So I'm going to NC for Caca's wedding this august and I need a cheap flight i.e. under 200 smackaroonies... I've been searching but haven't really found anything great. Does anyone have a tried and true cheap flight website they go to?

1. I"ve been looking through old pics tonight and have come to the conclusion that apparently my looking hot glory days of my youth are GONE. Wish I had known they were going on while they were!! 2. I worked out 3 times this week. Was shooting for 4, but oh well.. 3. Seeing as its going to rain EVERY.SINGLE.DAY next week I'm thinking me and Katie's plan of walking at the park is never going to happen.. 4. I laughed SO much at work today. My co worker Betsy, received flowers for her anniversary and they looked so beautiful in the June Sunlight today that I took a few pictures for her. Isnt' God's handiwork glorious?

I'm writing this the night before so I can post it in the morning. Today Is a VERY VERY Special Day! Its my Dad's BIRTHDAY!!! I want to take this moment to say how much I love and appreciate my Dad. I think I lucked out when it came to parents, I genuinely think my parents are the best ever and I would not trade them for anyone else, no Mom, not even Bill Gates!! ;) My Dad has been a shining example of what a real man should be like and what a Godly Man/Father/Husband should be like. Alot of my memories of my childhood have him sitting in his chair reading his Bible. Studying, and learning what God was trying to teach him. I also remember how he helped lead a bible study at a prison through our old church. He was so faithful in going to minister to these men, every single week. I didn't think much of it at the time, but now looking back it says so much about the man that he is. Another thing that sets him out from most is how he has always worked to provide for his family.

Crystal Light-Pomegranate Lemonade is pretty much the greatest thing ever invented. LOVE.IT. Also love the automatic spell checker on blogger since I apparently don't know how to spell Pomegranate. ooops. Not loving the whole being stinking bright outside when I wake up in the a.m. Today I shot halfway out of bed because I thought I had overslept. Alas, it was only 6:15. Hey, 10 mins of extra sleep is always needed!!!! I saw God answer a HUGE HUGE Prayer this week. I can't wait to talk about it!! But I can't, not just yet!!!!! But its pretty stinking cool!!!! I worked out last night and tonight, on my cardio bike while watching my DVR. Both nights I burned 1000 calories each workout. I am desperately trying to get into some semblance of shape before I am a bridesmaid. Whooops.. can't spell semblance either.. my bad.. Went to the Dr today for a normal visit and found out I have ANOTHER UTI. Second in a month. Have no clue what is wrong with me. I never get them? How can

I had one of the most perfect weekends I've had in a very long time! Friday night I went shopping at Target and got the most adorable lavendar and white sundress EVER!!! Read a book and just chilled out. Saturday I slept in, of course!! and then got ready and ran some errands before meeting Katie and her friend Rachel for dinner at Olive Garden. The three of us had so much FUN!! We sat and talked and laughed for over an hour and a half. It was nice to actually go out to eat. I do it so rarely that its a big treat! I don't know why, but it makes me feel like such a little kid playing dress up, or pretend when I go out to eat with my friends! Even though I'm *gasp* approaching 30 sooner rather than later, I just don't feel like i'm ADULT enough to go out to a nice resturant and have dinner with my other adult friends! Yes, I know I'm weird.

Last night I had a moment of hilarity that shows how well I amuse myself. Each night before I go to bed, I check out the perimeter. (yes I have an older brother who thinks he's law enforcement but he isn't. i can't help myself!) I go around and make sure my door is locked and look outside and make sure my truck is still there. (like anyone would want to steal my 96' Explorer with more dents and dings than you can count!) Well Last night I was getting ready to close my balcony door and looking outside and what do I see across the parking lot by the pond, but a small circle of ducks and geese. They were acting sort of strange so I watched them. One would get up and move around and they would all go crazy, and then they would all sit and be still. I thought to myself, huh, it looks like they are playing Duck, Duck Goose! And then I realized what I just thought. And I started dying laughing. I mean duck duck goose, come on!!!!! Mom came to town this week and stopped by to see me! YAYS! She brought this special potato she had found, its a Heart! She said it was a Charity Potato and she had to bring it to me! SO COOL!! We ran to Walgreens and Payless and I made her take pictures in the truck. She just loves my self portraits! And I love my Momma!!!

Everyday when I open the doors to the entrance for my building at work, I see my reflection in the glass, three reflections actually, and EVERY SINGLE DAY I wonder why there are so many people in the lobby at 7:45 am. Well I hate to say this but I really have no interesting/exciting/funny updates. Its been a quiet week in Cherry-land and while I randomly have interesting things to blog about pop into my mind while I'm at work, by the time I get home and actually sit down to write, there is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING in my mind. So I apologize, I will try to do better, I promise! Needless to say I am not going to reach my goal of being a daily blogger anytime soon.
