Perfect Weekend

I had one of the most perfect weekends I've had in a very long time! Friday night I went shopping at Target and got the most adorable lavendar and white sundress EVER!!! Read a book and just chilled out.

Saturday I slept in, of course!! and then got ready and ran some errands before meeting Katie and her friend Rachel for dinner at Olive Garden. The three of us had so much FUN!! We sat and talked and laughed for over an hour and a half. It was nice to actually go out to eat. I do it so rarely that its a big treat!

I don't know why, but it makes me feel like such a little kid playing dress up, or pretend when I go out to eat with my friends! Even though I'm *gasp* approaching 30 sooner rather than later, I just don't feel like i'm ADULT enough to go out to a nice resturant and have dinner with my other adult friends!

Yes, I know I'm weird.

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!!
