This week I have been reminded again and again how blessed I am in so many ways. So I want to get back on track doing Grace in the Small Things so I can remember God's blessings. 1. Friends and Family and co workers that go along with my love for my birthday and make me feel so special and loved! 2. Getting alfredo sauce on the side at Olive Garden to dip your breadsticks in. And not having to share! 3. Having a brother and sil that I am best friends with and being able to talk to them on the phone TWICE in one weekend! I love them so much!! 4. Flowers in my hair. 5. A truck that works and runs well with its new battery. 6. Rain instead of snow today!! 7. Hearing that Caca's family in Chile is safe and alive. 8. Balloons. 9. My small group friends and bible study buddies. 10. Having my hair thinned out and not looking like simba anymore. 11. Not wearing socks with flats! 12. Not wearing a coat!! 13. Well as half of the world knows:) today is my birthday!!! I have had a really good day!! Despite not sleeping much from my excitement, I perked up and met Katie at the Spa! We both had our first massages but definitely NOT our last! I have to tell you it was one of the most FABULOUS and hilarious experiences I have ever had!! Katie and I in public are kind of, well, its entertaining to say the least. Especially when we shop together. Getting a massage was no different. We were in the same room together and I'm sure the therapists really wondered why it was taking so long for us to get dressed at the end, not to mention the giggling that was going on. Seriously, I thought I was going to pee my pants I was laughing so hard! After that Katie got a manicure which didn't end up that good and I got my hair cut and styled and that DID end up good!! Although she didn't put enough product in it or seal it with half a can of hairspray like I do, so after shopping for a half an hour

I walked into my office this morning to find this wonderful surprise waiting for me! I"m pretty obnoxious about my birthday but I never really expect anyone to do anything for it, I just love getting all excited about it beforehand and being silly!! So this was a special surprise!! So much pink and flowers and prettiness!! LOVE IT!! I just adore these butterflies!! The buckets have candy in them! and tiny pin wheels that I had alot of fun playing with!! You KNOW I had to pose with the Parasol!! Me and our wonderful work study-Lana! She did all of the decorating! She is awesome!! Oh and thats April, she was having an icky day and didn't want pictures but we wanted to include her too!! And my Valerie.. Oh Valerie!! And this is what we did for a large part of the day. Balloon Volleyball. I love the action shot of Aprils hair!! By the end of the day we had over 20 balloons blown up and laying around and everyone would come through and kick them (yes we played some soccer as well!)

1. I have had one of the BEST days of my life!!!!! 2. I just spend almost an hour on the phone with my bro and SIL. I love them! And talking to them at the same time is pretty much hilarious!! 3. I got beat up with balloons tonight at small group. those kids are vicious!! 4. Kristy and I were beating eachother up with balloons and gloves and scarves outside in the snow as we left! Wonder who they learned it from? 5. I am kind of bummed not to have my sissie here for my birthday but I know she is here in spirit and thanks to her blackberry we are connected!! 6. Speaking of my sissie, I talked to her on the phone for over an hour last night and it was SOOOOOO GOOD to hear her voice, albeit congested as it was!! 7. The kids keep calling me Mrs Charity. They think I am married. I am pretty sure I would remember that.

I had been missing my bubbies and as I talked to Katie before I headed to Bible Study she said they had been missing me as well, especially Sam Sam. I guess everytime the phone rang he thought it was me, and everytime the doorbell rang he thought it was me as well.. Broke my heart, so I headed to their house after church and barely got my coat off and purse down before this little man had proppelled himself on my legs and wanted up. I picked him up and he promptly laid his head on my shoulder and did not move for the next 10 mins. He jabbered on and told me about the turtle and said he loved his Charity! Without being asked! Seriously, I almost cried right then and there! I had Katie snap a picture because it was just so precious I wanted to remember it. I just love this little boy. He, and his brother, have such sweet kinda little hearts full of love..

Ok I have to confess I watch my ticker on the side of my blog to see where people are coming from and I am DYING DYING!! to know who is reading my blog in Oslo!! And I'm kind of dying to know what life is like over there!! Dearest Oslo, leave a comment please!!! :):):)

Our Winter Women's Bible study is going through "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" by Joanna Weaver. I am really enjoying this book so far and we're only on chapter 3! The author has a way of speaking biblical truth and merging that with real life examples. She speaks right to you and its very easy to follow along. I am a little behind in blogging about Chapter 3 but hey at least I'm getting it done before Chapter 4!! :) Whitney spoke this week and did such a wonderful job (as usual) she has such a sweet heart and spirit and I love hearing what God puts on her heart. This week what got to me was the Worry vs Concern. Whit had us all write down everything that we worry about on a daily basis and what is on our thoughts and minds. And then we went back after reading some scripture and took a second look at our cards and categorize them as worry or concern. Wouldn't you know almost everything on my list was a worry, something I couldn't do anything about

Because I have to entertain myself somehow!!

Happy Friday Everyone!! 1. Tonight Katie and I are taking the boys to Monkey Joe's for an adoption benefit for my friends Ben and Janet. Super excited! And yes, I will SO be going down the big slide!! (thank goodness Sammy is 2!!) 2. I finally cleaned off my kitchen table. WOOT!!! Its nice to be able to see it again! :) 3. I have had a really fabulous week!!!!!! Partially maybe because of *someone* but that will be kept in my heart for a little bit longer.. 4. I got a new phone! Mine was up for renewal so I got a cute little purple slider phone for free! Just activated it tonight and sent my first texts! WOW is that keyboard tiny. I mean I don't think I have huge hands, ok they are big but they are pianist hands!! but seriously, struggling... 5. ONE MORE WEEK UNTILL MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I was very privileged to have lunch with the Emster and baby bosma!! We ate at O'Charleys and it was so yummy!! We also discovered when you tell the waiter that one of you is pregnant you get OUTSTANDING service! (and alot of rolls!) She talked me into trying their Strawberry Lemonade and OH MY WORD!! It was GLORIOUS!! GLORIOUS!!!!! I also had the penne sausage pasta and it was quite tasty! I'm usually not a huge fan of sausage but it was really good! Em picked this out for me. I have such a problem deciding what I want to order!! So I always narrow it down to a few choices and then get help. She was spot on with this choice! SO yummy!! I am so excited that Emily now lives in L town and we can hang out! We're former PCC'ers and have been friends for years and years but she lived in MI so its awesome she lives here now!!

There may only be 40 mins left in this Friday but I'm here!! 1. I always sit on the left side of the couch and curl up on my side. Being the odd child I am I have to put a small pillow between my knees because the feeling of kneecap on kneecap freaks me out! 2. Having a 6 year old (and three other kids) lay on your legs while you lay on your stomach and lift them up with your legs is quite a good leg workout. Especially when each child gets 4 turns. Well as I have reminded you a few times, my 28'th Birthday is coming up on Feb 27!! And what I would love for my birthday is for you readers to come out of the woodwork and become follower! So its snowing here in Indiana. Its snowing alot. Well actually it snowed alot, but we're getting more and oh the yay 40 mph winds!! So I went to work today for 3 1/2 hours untill they let us leave and closed and WHAT WHAT We're closed untill THURSDAY!!! Yes, no Pink Weds at work tomorrow. Sadness.. :( I am pretty excited about a day and a half off, PAID!! WOOT WOOT!! 1. I am proud to say that I have figured out what to wear for Black Sunday, otherwise known as Valentines day. Yes I hate valentines day, and YES I will be wearing all black!! muahaahhahahah 2. I wussed out and re scheduled my eye apt for the first weekend in March because I didn't want to go out in the snow Saturday, Which results in me having drumroll please, A FREE SATURDAY!!! Well Whitney has inspired me to update my blog background! Of course its still PINK :) but I think its festive with the bows! So as I wrote Monday night the stomach bug was fast approaching and come 10:30 pm it was here and here in full force. I will spare you the details of what the past two days have been like, suffice it to say that a. they weren't fun but b. weigh in on Friday is going to be pretty awesome since I've lost alot being sick! Reminds me of the saying in the Devil Wears Prada, where the assistant says that she's one Stomach Flu away from her goal weight. ha. I think I"ll stick to my Yoga, thankyouverymuch. I'm pretty bummed to be stuck at home tonight and missing our first Women's bible study of the semester, but I was still feeling puny this afternoon and didn't want to risk giving anyone at church germs. It really irks me when people come to church sick! So needless to say I am SO looking forward to going to work tomorrow and being around

Today marks the birthday of Miss Kara Ann.. She was born to my dear friend from pcc, Cindy Boo and her hubs Chris this afternoon alittle before 3pm. She was 5 weeks early and gave us a little scare, but she is healthy and perfect and absolutely GORGEOUS!! She weighed 5 pounds 14 oz and is 19 inches long! Welcome to the world little Kara Ann. We are so glad you're here. We can't wait to get to know you and your personality and see you grow and turn into a beautiful young lady just like your mama! Cindy Boo I am so proud of you and so happy for you! You are going to be a fabulous mom and one of the coolest mom's on the block! I can't wait to watch you go through motherhood, you will be a wonderful success!! I love you all!! It kills me that you're in TX and I'm stuck here in IN, but rest assured there will be a trip sometime this year! I have got to get my hands on that precious little Kara Burrito!! (and tell her a thing or two about her momma!!)
