Shutterfly WINNAH!!!

Thanks to a certain person stalking me  *cough* emily *cough* I just drew a winner for the Shutterfly contest. I used a very technological system of writing down the names on pieces of paper, folding them and closing my eyes and grabbing one. There are no pictures because you don't want to see me in my pjs. Just trust me on this one. Without further adu Or however you spell it The Winnah is...................... DEBBIE H!! And yes she is my Momma, and no I did not rig this, promise! Congrats Mom!!!!

a list

I cannot, CANNOT believe we leave for Vegas in 5 days!!!!!!!!!!! At this time next week I'll still be in Vegas!! I also can't believe that Christmas will be so close after we get back! I'm still not done Christmas shopping. I usually am by this point! The two people I need to start/finish are my Dad and my Snugglemuffin. I'm loving my new laptop, even though I'm still adjusting to the keyboard. Typing things is taking alot longer. Its really nice to not have it freeze up all the time though! It's almost officially winter, as the flannel sheets are out and about to be put on my bed. Now if i could just find my coat..... I set up Skype on my Dad's laptop and freaked him out last night calling him at 9:30. muahahaah it's the little things! Speaking of Skype we got to Skype with my nephew yesterday, he is so stinkin cute! and he's still calling me "Chewy" :) I am finally getting caught up on my sleep after being up until 2 am for Black

Black Friday

Ok so the first picture was me heading home for Thanksgiving, had to throw it in here! I was pretty happy!  So Thanksgiving night my Mom talked me and Grams into going into Rensselaer for Walmart's Black Friday Thursday night specials. It. was.a.nightmare. I have never seen a store fail like that before. We and the people we stood in line with are all complaining about it. If Walmart doesn't step up you'd better believe I will blog in great detail about that horrific 3 hours I spent standing in line.  Grams and I wanted laptops. Brilliant people that Rensselaer Walmart are, they had 6. That's right 6. 6 Laptops for their biggest shopping day of the year. So we had to buy the 100 more expensive one which did not make us very happy. But by that point it was too late to drive the hour to Lafayette to get their deals, as theirs would have been gone all ready.  We didn't get home until after 1 am. And we got there at 9:45. That should tell you something.

Midweek Randoms

I finally cleaned the townhouse to where only the spare room looks like a burglar was here. Sadly the tree still has no ornaments on it. actually no, it has one, left over from last year my tree and it's lights are my nemesis, and now Katie Marie's as well. I leave for Vegas ONE WEEK from Friday! I'm overwhelmed with everything that has to happen before I leave and then coming back to our two day big events the very next day. It makes me want to whimper a little bit. Just a little bit. I already have my suitcase out for Vegas And yet I have nothing packed to take home to the Farm tomorrow. 4 more Piano Lessons until Thanksgiving break! Mom and I are going into Rensseltucky Thursday night to hit up walmart. That should be a blog post in and of itself. I am constantly tired lately. I also can't spell. Thank goodness for spell check on blogger. I have a rash on my left arm and my right hand. But no clue why or where it came from?

I heart Shutterfly!

So here's the thing. I love Shutterfly. Like Serious. LOVE. Ever since I learned how to write I have loved sending cards and letters. Granted, when I was younger they were mostly written on my Garfield stationary, but I digress.  Thankfully Shutterfly came along to fulfill all my my card and stationary needs!!  Not only do I love their Christmas Cards , I'm in lurve with their photo books as well! If you're a regular reader you know that I have an adorable Snugglemuffin Nephew!  He's pretty much my world. Last year for his First Birthday I made him a photo book of his first year. I plan to do that for him each year until he turns 18. Shutterfly is great for photo books like that, I'm pretty sure all of the photo books I have are by Shutterfly.  Not only do they have everything your little heart could desire but they have great prizes and what is that? Special Offers you say? Not only do they have special offers, but they also want to give you, y

Field Trip!!

I was homeschooled as you all know and never went on a field trip. So today was my first and I have to say the MOST AWESOMEST FIELD TRIP EVER!!!!!!!!!! We took two students and made our way down to Indy! Miss Amber drove and did a fabulous job! I would be remiss not to mention that (what looked to be a 12 year old) a young man tried racing us in his camero and we totally smoked him. We may or may not have waved as we passed him. I can neither confirm or deny. We had so much fun riding together I think we could have just drove down there and back and been happy as clams.  Any field trip that involves going to the Cheesecake Factory is a good one in my book! I FINALLY got to go to a Sephora instead of online shopping! AMEN AND AMEN! I LOVED it!!!!! And one of the ladies there complimented me on my eye shadow. I was quite pleased to tell her it was Sephora!   I'm rather amused on how I have turned into this girl now that actually pays attention to her makeup and is *try

Teeth Whitening!

I had to go to our West side Salon today for something, so I scheduled a teeth whitening appointment while I was there! It took an hour- i did three 20 minute sessions, and I thought I had AMAZING results! Above is a picture of me before. You can see my teeth were kind of yellowish and not very bright!  And here we are afterwards!!!! And yes apparently I have a crooked lip on the bottom.  Sparkling white teeth!! I've always liked my smile but I like it even more now!  Look at those gleaming pearly WHITES!!!! I was sooo pleased with my results! For an hour and 39.99 man you CANNOT beat that! Not to mention it was super easy, I got to sit in a rocking chair with an ottoman and I'll admit, I think I dozed off during it! It was relaxing! If you haven't tried our Whitening system you TOTALLY have to!!

The Townhouse Tour: Living Room Updated!

Well I have been hard at work redecorating my living room and it's finally starting to come together!! You might notice two very big changes in the above picture. I got a new to me coffee table and a monogrammed mirror!! I also changed up the kid's section of my "waiting room" as I call it. And got a bookshelf where I could put the books, coloring books, toys, ect on. Much cleaner looking! Mom also brought some of my old dolls from home! It's been so weird/funny to see kids playing with the toys that I did when I was a little girl! I also moved the Baker's rack from right by the door into my kitchen. It was just too cramped. I put up this shelf with some seasonal decorations, as well as my keys, and lipstick for when i head out the door. As well as a small mirror so I can check myself before I head out! This will have a post all of it's own soon, but I made my own Pictorial Family Tree stairway! I love it!! I still have to blow up my Grandpa

Halloween @ Work- Picture Overload!!

We went a little crazy taking pictures at work on Halloween. I have way more than this, but I'm sparing ya'll!! Here is Minnie and A Fairy!!  Fairy Life is Dangerous apparently!  I thought the Samster's spider hat looked like a fascinator. She would have fit right in at the royal wedding!  We all know I love a good self portrait!  Fairy at work!!  My girls!!  This picture just makes me laugh!  Trying for an artsy shot.  My eyes changed color that day, for some reason they were really dark? Weird, I usually have light blue eyes. Must have been all the black on my face!!  Again, I LOVE self portraits!!  Kayla tamed my curls into Minnie ringlets and sprayed on glitter hairspray. I was in LOVE!!  LOVE!!!! And for Bergs. Because she loves my pictures in the bathrooms :)

Trick or Treating with Madi!

Wednesday night I was so excited to take Miss Madi Trick or Treating with Aunt Beans! We had such a good time! Madi was soooo adorable as a little doggie! She would woof on command! She wasn't too sure at first but then she really liked it! I carried her for most of the time and she was just talking away, and randomly would start singing and then clapping her hands! It was BEYOND precious! Love that girl!  She wasn't too sure about Auntie Cherry's wagon driving. I apparently need more practice.  At the beginning of trick or treating. She didn't catch on right away that she was getting more candy. She got the first candy and dove in for it to eat it. Please see later pictures for chocolate face. I think she thought after that we were done! She was happy with her two pieces of chocolate! After a few more houses she caught up that we were going to several and when we'd start to walk up to a house she'd say CAAANNNDDDYYYY! in her excited little vo
