So Friday I wasn't expecting anything huge at work since Apes was off, but Muy Caliente totally surprised me and brought in giftts and BALLOONS!!! I think I was almost more excited about the balloons than the gifts! hahah I LOVE BALLOONS!!! She gave me CHOCOLATE!! And this super cool spa candle thingy. Flameless candles! And to turn it on and off you BLOW ON IT!! SERIOUSLY!! Yes, I blew the candle on and off for at least 20 mins and demonstrated it to every single person that came in during that time. I was fascinated! Me at my desk! Oh yes, you can see the cupcakes she brought in the back as well! And one of my birthday banners! I looked at this and said WHOA! I DO have a huge head! I mean look at all that face! I have alot of face! Muy Caliente tried to tell me it was because my hair was even more bountiful than normal but I know the truth. I have a huge head. Bless my heart. I walked into my office on Weds to find a surprise! Apes had gotten me flowers! Tulips! Purple Tulips are my FAVORITE flowers!!!! They are sooo beautiful and smell SO GOOD!! Ohhh they smell SO GOOD!! She also got me this awesome notebook that has staff paper inside!! Perfect for me to write music for my students! I have them sitting on my desk and I smell them all day! They really do brighten up the office! So beautiful!!! On a side note i didn't realize how small I look behind my desk. I should sit there AT ALL TIMES!! Let the Birthday Week Celebration begin BABY!!

So my week last week SUCKED. I was SO sick and ended up having surgery on Friday. My Mom took pics of me before (and after!!YIKES!) but they are no bueno cute, so all you're getting is my sad and pained little arm. Of course they blew the first vein they tried to get the iv in. I cried. It hurt so.bad. Thankfully they got another nurse and she was successful, but I think it was still alittle weird because when the meds went in it burned HORRIBLE. If there hadn't been the promise that the meds were going to make me feel good I would have cried! But I was a big girl (for that part at least!) I still seem to have to have enough meds to knock out a small elephant. They gave me the first shot and I was still awake looking around. They were surprised I was still awake. I felt fine so I decided to look around the or since i'm always knocked out as soon as i get in there. However not having my glasses on kind of killed that. Thankfully they gave me a second shot and I went out

This is not news to anyone that knows me. When you read this, I will be sitting at work, wearing black. I always wear black on Valentines day. Its my own way of protesting. I wouldn't let Apes decorate our office in hearts, ect for V-day, even though people kept suggesting it. Everytime someone would suggest it I would sternly inform them that we do NOT celebrate Valentines Day in this office, and glared at them. Finally it got to the point where they would say it and Apes would jump in and tell them no before I could start on my rant. So I just sat there glaring instead. Totally goes on my blog!! I had time to kill while waiting for Dr R and tried to take some pics of my hair to show Kim.. Its struggling a bit. I didn't realize that with it being so much shorter and thinner- I had her thin it out again, how fast I could dry it. Wow. so a little frizzy. Now I see what it must be like for people who don't have crazy thick hair like me. I rather liked not having to dry it for what seems like years! And I just like this because my eyes were really blue today and the lighting in his office always makes them crazy blue and greenish. Didn't translate that well to this pic but still pretty.

This Thursday was our Monthly Open Table night at church for us ladies! I was thrilled to go and spend some time with my friends! I had such a good time chatting with Bryna, who refused to have her picture taken so please just conjure up an image of her in your mind :) My craft this month was working on the flowers to hang from the ceiling in our office. I bought 4 bunches of Iris' and cut them apart so I had single flowers. Then I tied sparkly silver string on them and put a fancy hook on the end that I fashioned out of paper clips. I learned that it is not a smart idea to just lay them on the ground with the hooks and strings. Instead what I SHOULD have done, is hooked them when I got to the office. Oh yeah and I should have wrapped the string around each flower. You can imagine what happened. Thank goodness for Bryna and her friends untangling skillz! The other table. Yes, I know this blog has been a bit of a snooze this week! No fears I will have plenty to talk about soon! Tonight is our first Women's Bible Study of the year, Tomorrow night is Craft night, Friday night is Mary's 60'th Birthday party and Monday I start teaching Piano Lessons!! So alot is coming up! Now if i can just have the time to blog about all of it!!

So I'm home sick today working the last dredges of what Urgent care tells me was an Intestinal Virus, fabulous, and I get an email from my BFF Kim. So I open it and it appears to be her Pastor's weekly email message to the congregation complete with a devotional and then upcoming events at the bottom. She didn't write a message with it so I was trying to figure out what she wanted me to read. I skimmed through the devotional and it was pretty good so I thought, maybe she just sent it for that? I decide to scroll down and read the announcements, even though I am not in Florida attending their church :) and what do I see at the bottom that almost made me spit out the bland pancake I was trying to eat? Only an announcement that my one serious ex's FATHER was coming to her church to preach for an entire Sunday! I read it twice, but I knew it was him. So I told Caca that my hair was large and in charge today and kinda cute, she wanted pics so off to the bathroom I trotted to oblige. Unfortunately I didn't get a stellar one like normal so here are several just sub-par bathroom pics. That is ALOT of hair!! (and yes I have the pointiest nose on the planet) I really like my shirt! Due to the snow and my 4 wheel drive I have started a new business venture. Its called A1 Chauffer service and it serves the area of 231-Twickingham to Ivy Tech. Drop offs at 9 am only and returns at 6 pm. Sadly A1 is a little struggling and their wipers got frozen in Snowmageddon so passengers are forced to ride around with the windshield wipers straight up in the air. Embarassment means nothing to A1 Chauffer service.

I've sat here for a good ten minutes trying to come up with a good opening line explaining exactly why we were having this conversation or why we would even talk about Buttmunchedness. Sadly, I have nothing. So yeah, these are the kind of conversations Dr Avery and I have. Frightening, I know! CB: You're kind of a buttmunch you know that? You should prob talk to your pastor about that issue! DRA: What am I gonna say to him? lol Pastor I think i'm a buttmunch. Can you help me? CB:Yes I think that would be a good start!!! At least you're not in denial! DRA: I guess I have an ugly case of buttmunch syndrome. CB: Be Joyful!! God can save you from your buttmunchedness and do mighty things! Can I get an AMEN?!! DRA: AMEN! Oh how I loathe my buttmunchedness. CB: You and me both!!

So we had an epic storm here this week. Snowmageddon if you will!! The following are pictures before the storm hit Monday night. I had to run to Payless for some meds and this is what I encountered. Thankfully I was doing the drive thru or I would probably still be there! All of these cars, these are not parking spaces! They ran out of parking spaces so cars just parked everywhere, including where you're supposed to drive at! Whoops! In the alittle over an hour that it had started snowing alot came down. Almost an inch. It also started icing. In the morning when I went to work all of this was clear and had melted off. The Parking lot and emergency parking. ALL FULL. While I sat in line for my meds I thought to myself that maybe I should get some new gloves.. You know.. where my index finger isn't pointing out of them??!
