Friday FUNDAY!!!

So Friday I wasn't expecting anything huge at work since Apes was off, but Muy Caliente totally surprised me and brought in giftts and BALLOONS!!! I think I was almost more excited about the balloons than the gifts! hahah I LOVE BALLOONS!!!
She gave me CHOCOLATE!! And this super cool spa candle thingy. Flameless candles! And to turn it on and off you BLOW ON IT!! SERIOUSLY!! Yes, I blew the candle on and off for at least 20 mins and demonstrated it to every single person that came in during that time. I was fascinated!

Me at my desk! Oh yes, you can see the cupcakes she brought in the back as well! And one of my birthday banners! I looked at this and said WHOA! I DO have a huge head! I mean look at all that face! I have alot of face! Muy Caliente tried to tell me it was because my hair was even more bountiful than normal but I know the truth. I have a huge head. Bless my heart.

Dr Avery took this one of us. I had to delete the first one he took while we were talking and not ready. I should have smacked him for how he was mocking us and how stupid we looked. Dork.

Me at my desk with my banners and some of my balloons! YAYS!!

So as part of the birthday festivities Muy Caliente took me out to lunch at O'Charleys! Katie joined us as well since she's not able to make the Bonanza Saturday night and we had a lovely time! This is Muy Caliente with her napkin she unfolded. It allready had holes it in so she was looking thru it at me.

I had their famous Strawberry Lemonade oh it was soooo good!!

And speaking of good, can we just have a moment of silence for their rolls? amen and amen.

I had this pasta which had more kick to it than i remember. Thanks to our free appetizer (YAY COUPONS!) and the rolls I was about full by the time i got this so i didn't eat that much.

Us girls!! I am so thankful for my wonderful friends!! And for Muy Caliente for making it a special day at work for me!! Smooches!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

The Bible Recap Day 45- Leviticus 5-7 (Year Three Podcast)

Welcome back to Leviticus Friends! Today we are in chapters 5-7 and I'll admit on the first pass through of it, while listening to it on my Bible app and reading along, I didn't make a ton of notes. But when I listened to the pod things made more sense, and I got a lot more from it. Which is why I highly reccomend listening to the pod after doing your reading. TL breaks it down and shares historical and meanings of things that those of us not steeped in our Hebrew, might not know.  Things I found interesting: She mentioned that God is the only one who has spoken so far in Leviticus. Tomorrow we get a switchup with Moses and Aaron but so far the first 7 chapters have all been God talking! We talk about blood some more, and she again makes the note that it is a reminder of the fall and that God is working on rebuilding Eden. She also notes that blood is given back to God because God is the giver and taker of life.  A question I had, when we were in 5:11, talking about the rich a...
