Other happenings..

Brace yourself for a hodgepodge of pics of the last few weeks! This is what happens when I don't blog as often as I should!  A few weeks ago it was Sweet Sydney's 16'th Birthday! I had a present and a balloon for her! As well as a stationary bike! It was mine until I gave it to my Grams, now after surgery and during chemo she is not able to use it and wanted it out! I found out that Sydney bikes TONS as in like 12 miles a day outside tons, so I asked her if she would like a stationary bike! She jumped at the chance and I got it back from my Mom and gave it to her at the same time as her gifts!  She was pretty excited! Opening her gifts! She is such a sweet girl and such a blessing to me! She has a natural talent for music and I'm so excited to see how far she goes!  This week I FINALLY made it to the pool! I have been wanting to go since it opened Memorial Day, but couldn't find my suit, and then every time I would get done with lessons and want to

We *heart* Chili's!

Today Emboz and I met up for another edition of Ladies who Lunch! We met at Chili's to partake in their new flatbreads! I had the margharita and It was soooo good! They were huge too! I wasn't expecting it to be quite that large! So yummy! Madi was being quite the cheeseburger today! She ran right up to me in the booth and just hugged me! It was so precious! Melt my heart!  She is such a goober!  Please note that I am wearing a Pink tank under my white shirt, it actually looks really cute, but in these pics looks alittle bit like my underthings are showing. I promise you that was not the case!  Madi got a little bored by the end and decided she would rather sit on the floor. So sit on the floor in her booster seat she did!  She made a little mess as well. Gotta love toddlers! Me and Emboz before we left! We are so festive! I had on super cute sandals that matched my pink tank but my feet are cut off in this pic so you can't see them. Just know th

Midweek Randoms

Three posts in a week? Pictures? What is this nonsense?!!!  Yesterday I was standing by the door waiting on a student, where I seem to spend half of my days, I looked in the mirror by my door to check my lipstick and caught a gimpse of red in the corner of my eye. I had to take this picture to get a better look. Apparently I had a broken blood vessel in my eye. I guess all of that laying around the couch in my pj's watching real housewives was too much for me.  Monday I was pretty stoked to get a Free Frauppucino from Starbucks. Altho being used to drinking Venti, this Tall drink was like 3 sips. I live fairly close to Sbux and it was gone before I was home. #thirstygirl Adrienne got me cooked on her Carmel Corn so I asked for the recipe and made some tonight! It's pretty good! Not sure if it's as good as hers, possibly because i left out the salt. #ihavenosaltinmyhouse #embozthinksimnuts but it was still very yummy!! I had a free rental at Rebox so I wa

Weekend Wrap-up

Hold the fort and hold the phone! Not only am I doing my first ever Weekend Wrap-up but I'm blogging twice in a week for the first time in a looonnnggg time! Whoever said the Summer was a relaxed slow time was obviously not a Piano teacher! My summer schedule has been INSANE! Most days I barely know whether I am coming or going. Or WHO is coming and WHEN! Thankfully with my whiteboard and phone calendar I have not been caught unawares for any lessons. yet.. Fridays have become crazy days for me, and this is now the standard, but I had something I was very much looking forward to on friday! One of my students was set up at a garage sale with a little snack shop! I told her I would come over during a teaching break, so I did and got so many yummy treats! I'm not sure who was more excited, me or her! As it was I should have bought all of their carmel corn it was sooo good! The pink lemonade, amish cookies, brownies and kettle corn weren't too shabby either! I looked ar

My Knight in shining Armour..

Well we all know it's Father's Day weekend, but what you might not know is that this week celebrates two other important events in My Father's life! The first being his birthday! Kinda hard to have a life unless you are born! The second biggest event in his life, next to being born, happened around this time 50+ years ago. A little boy asked his Daddy if he could invite his best friend Kevin to go with him to VBS at his church. His Daddy said yes, and they took this little boy named Kevin with them to VBS. That little boy met Jesus at VBS. That little boy named Kevin who met Jesus after his friend invited him to VBS is My Dad. ( I have tears in my eyes just typing that) His life was forever changed. And as an effect of that, my life was changed as well. In fact I think it is safe to say that I wouldn't exist if my Dad hadn't gotten saved at that VBS. My Dad is one of 7 kids and he is the only one out of all of them who is saved. His family is riddled with alcoho

Snuggelmuffin comes to Indiana!

*Please excuse that all of these pictures are grossly out of order. Blogger hates me today* Over Memorial Day weekend Snugglemuffin, and his parents, came for a quick trip to Indiana! I had so much fun with him! He is such a funny little guy! And way smarter than he should be! His newest phrase is "how 'bout "insert what he wants"" It is most cute when he gives you a hug and kiss and then says "How bout, how bout a smooch?" I will happily smooch him anyday! Friday afternoon we played with the bubble wand and bubble gun that I had bought him. Sadly the gun broke as I was showing him how to use it so the poor guy didn't even get to use his toy properly. #auntiefail  Thankfully he didn't seem to notice and we had plenty of fun with his big bubble wand! And Nana did not kill us for using bubbles inside!  We spent all of Friday waiting for Grandpa to get done driving the big tractor and come home to play with Benmon (as he calls
