Last Monday I was super productive, and even started wrapping my Christmas presents. Yes, I know it's August. I typically start shopping here and there in the summer, so I am done with Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving. I already have three concerts lined up, three weeks in a row, the end of November into December. Along with planning the week long Christmas Party in your lesson week in the studio. I have to shop early and get stuff done to preserve my sanity. Tuesday i was making my shopping list and for some reason decided to do it on payless' site, and saw that they had waived my click list fee! (Probably since I hadn't used it in about a year) so you'd better believe I hopped on that! I love being able to order my groceries online and pick them up without ever having to get out of my vehicle. But it irks me to have to pay a fee for it. Wednesday I tried out a new maybelline foundation that all the youtuber's i watch have raved about. It wa

This past week can be described as I started off the week exhausted and ended it the same way! The first week of school is rough!! Monday was the first day of fall schedule, but only two students came at their new times, thanks to meet the teacher night, so it was a bit kabobbled.  During one of my lessons my student looks at me and says... "Miss Charity? Can I just say, your eyebrows are ON FLEEK today!!" I was just glad a different student had explained to me what On Fleek meant, not that long ago. HA!  In accordance of the Summer of Trying New Things, Ema and I decided to try a new to us Restaurant that we had never been to. Triple XXX Family Restaurant. That's right. We've both lived here for YEARS and have never been to Triple XXX! And being the smart people we are, we went the week before Purdue started. I have to say though, the Bert Burger was mighty tasty!! Pretty sure the 18 yr old on the other side of me thought we were crazy old ladies. It&#

Book Review- Fault Lines by Thomas Locke

So this book review is going to be a little bit of a struggle, because I feel like I can't say much without giving the plot away!! This book was a fairly large book, at 388 pages. The first two pages were nothing to get excited about and then WHAMMY!!!! 4 pages in and you've got massive action! I wasn't quite expecting that since most books build up a little bit. I have to say this book kept me wondering, which in turn kept me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going on. It had more twists and turns than a mountain road. If you start reading this, do it during the day, because you will have a hard time putting it down if you think you're going to read for a little bit before bed. #NotAGoodIdea #BringOnTheCofee If you like action and want to be on the edge of your seat, pick up this book! Thanks to Revell for providing me with a copy in exchange for my honest opinions!

I don't know what is up with Blogger and my pictures today, but brace yourself for some sideways pictures that I can't fix! So last week. I have no idea what happened Monday-Wednesday besides teaching because I have ZERO pictures from those days. Thursday when I was looking at my phone I realized I hadn't taken any pictures of my week so I tried to snap some, but of course this was at the end of my day. So let's just picture me teaching, and working hard Monday thru Early Thursday!! Thursday I enjoyed my last day of getting done early in the afternoon, and celebrated by running some errands and getting Igloo. I had been craving a frozen hot chocolate and it was yummy! It is very rich and flavorful though, so I need to remember to get the smallest size possible because after drinking maybe half of it, I'm done with the chocolate. I came back home and settled into my couch with my laptop to get some work done.  As you can se

I Have no Memory of what happened Monday, but apparently I was happy and having a good hair day!  Over the weekend I had painted a wood frame to match the colors of my gallery wall. One of my favorite pictures of Apes and I at her wedding!  Tuesday I was NOT THRILLED to be up super early for my ENT apt. But I will say my hair was looking really good! I knew I wasn't going to have a lot of time, so I straightened it the night before to save time on washing, drying and styling the next morning. It worked!  I look way more awake than I felt at that point.  I had to wait in the waiting room for a bit and then in the exam room, and I don't know what my BP was but I'm sure it was WAY up there. I was SO nervous! I thought for sure that my left ear tube was out of my ear drum and that my Dr would take it out and put a new one in. I had tried to mentally prepare myself for the horrible pain of the burning acid numbing drops. but much to my shock my Dr told me my
