STINKS ROYALLY!!! In case you were wondering my internet has been down since the two big storms last weds. Yes, almost a week now. And yes, I AM going insane!! I am pet sitting for my other mother and will pop by another time this week to check my email and messages. I'll be home thurs-sun so here's praying that my parents internet doesn't go down, because I have some serious catching up to do!!! If anyone needs me you have my cell. otherwise I'll see you on thursday! WAHOO!!

I know many of you are wondering if I am ok and what all went on yesterday and why my blog is private now. I will explain as much as I can in awhile. For now, I just want to relax, and enjoy my Friday night and the knowledge that I don't have to be at work untill Monday.. sigh

Well I wish I had something extremely interesting or funny to post here, but the past week has been nice and quiet. The Library has seen WAY too much of me, as has my couch. I am beginning to wonder if the reason my hip keeps going out is from me curled up on my couch every night! ooops! I have been searching a for a good mystery/thriller author at the library. I really like Lisa Gardner's books and Lisa Scottoline.. (and no I don't just read books written by people named Lisa!) I found some suggested authors online and found a few of their books yesterday so I'm going to try them out. I have really gotten into reading lately I don't know why. I guess because nothing is on TV and I want something to do. With an apt its not really like I can hang outside and do stuff, and its been in the 90's anyway, so who wants to? Much has happened in the past week, I keep thinking about blogging and even writing blogs in my head when I’m doing stuff but I never seem to get around to actually writing them out! Well Lisa is prodding me to update so I am finally sitting down and doing it! J This past weekend was absolutely WONDERFUL!! I don’t think I have laughed that hard or had so much fun in a long time. I was even still happy on Monday morning when I came into work and it lasted all day and all week long! I don’t know what happened to me, but I’m just at peace with everything right now. I’m quitting stressing out and worrying about stuff that I can’t do anything about. I told someone this as advice this morning and then I realized how much I needed to put it to practice. “Sometimes you just have to take the bad, and learn a lesson from it, and move on with life. So this afternoon at 5 pm precisely, my Dad picked me up to take me home to my parents for the weekend, to save money on gas since he was in town. He was in an adventerous mood so we or rather HE decided to take a brand new route home, that was sure to save us time, and get us to 231N without all the traffic. Well, we are now home. And it only took and hour and 45 mins. (normally an hour with Dad driving slow) We got lost. And when I say Lost, I mean DEAD LOST. We did several circles, which after the first time we did it, it was flat out hilarious to me. SO I laughed. Dad didn't appreciate that too much. I can now say that I have seen quite a bit of 700 (both directions!!) and Division Road was quite lovely. We saw lots of cool old houses, and new ones, and even what looked like a Mansion. So I'm thinking that being like bubble boy, probably wouldn't be a bad idea for me. I had a small accident at work yesterday. No, I didn't drop my computer on my toe and bust it open again. That is sooo 2007!! Instead, I decided to walk into my co workers office to drop some papers off in the tray on top of her filing cabinets.. With the light off... I mean really, who would have thought that her trash can would be out beside her desk right in my path? And it was black so it kind of blended in... I managed to trip on the trashcan and impale my foot on it, while simultaneously falling halfway on her desk. And yes, my hip hurts as well. I look up, and I'm sprawled across her desk, and i see my co worker across the hallway half up from her desk trying to see into the office I was in to see if I was ok.
