1. I have now completed two successful weeks of doing yoga AND not drinking pop. I'm eager to weigh in tomorrow and find out how it went! 2. I laugh hysterically everytime I heard pants on the ground. This includes the times I sing it. 3. The Pimpmobile is back in action! Thanks to Sams Club and a new battery its running like it did in its younger days! 4. I had so much fun tonight, I went to the Dollar Tree, yes grams they are STILL open, and got a few special little toys for my Miss Charity bag. Small group is tomorrow night and I wanted to have a few new things for the kids to play with. I vetoed the balls and things they could throw at me. (Those kids have wicked aims!) 5. I saw a PINK sweatshirt in the bookstore today that I want SOOOOO BAD!! It has our logo on the chest,, has a pocket for the hands and zips down to the pocket! LOVE IT!! I hate having to pull hoodies over my head, it always messes my hair up! 6. Its currently 8 degrees and my apt feels about 7 degrees warmer t

Happy Pink Weds everyone!! I hope you all have had a fabulous day! I had quite a lovely day myself! Pink Weds is definately catching on here, one of my co workers said she was walking out the door and realized she had on red instead of pink so she went back in and changed! Now thats dedication!! A good amount of our MW students are wearing pink as well! Awesomness!! I have been a bad blogger lately, I've been busy but it seems like I have nothing really interesting to share! I have started doing yoga everynight and I have actually enjoyed it! Yesterday I got my newest yoga dvd in the mail, its weight loss yoga for beginners. I did it last night with one of the routines from my vinyasa flow dvd and wow! I felt it! Its not bad though. I can feel the stretching in my legs and thighs especially and my arms but i'm not dying at the end of the workout or really out of breath. So I like that! I've been eating healthy and better portions and cut out pop except for once this week. I

Today has been a great Saturday! I got up EARLY, super early for me! And went to a Women's Breakfast at my church! We're kicking off our winter bible study with a sneak peek at what we will be studying. I really enjoyed it, I got to sit with my bible study buddy Janet, although I admit I was still not quite awake so my conversational skills were quite lacking this morning! We had a good time though and it was a great way to start the weekend! After that I came home and putzed around and soon my Mom showed up. She came to town for groceries and to pick up my christmas decorations. (they hold them in their attic for me) So that was nice! I hadn't seen her since Christmas:(:(:( so it was nice to spend time with her! We went to Wags, CVS and Payless and I got a few good deals! This afternoon I thought for sure that I would sleep all day from getting up early but I'm actually quite awake so I painted my nails and have been going through stuff on my DVR. 1. I have created a new word that stands for everything I can't remember the word to. Its called "du fee du" and I am happy to say that April has started using it as well! We speak in a different language! 2. I have started trying to plan my birthday weekend. I just have to share a few gems from Small Group last Friday night. Those 4 kids keep me on my toes! And I have to say when I left, I was re thinking my idea of having 4 kids! ha!! To start it off, I have a Miss Charity bag, a babysitting bag I take with me to small group that has some special things in it that the kids like to play with. We're down in a half finished basement where the owners keep toys, but I have a few special treats in my bag. Well, this past friday was the first of me leaving straight from work to go to Small Group, so I knew that I needed to take my Miss Charity bag with me when I left. I purposely put it by my shoes, below my bakers rack, where I keep my shoes and my purse and keys. Smart one that I am, somehow I left without it and didn't realize that untill I got to Small Group. April has been asking me how I come up with such witty and funny things to say, I honestly have no idea. The real humor is that most of the time things just fly out of my mouth and I have no idea what I said untill I say them! Two gems from today.. I tease our mail lady every day and she gives it right back. Usually she acts like she hates me and I act super sweet and sassy.. Today she was telling me that she would be back in a little while with more packages. To which I replied Oohhhh Gooody!!!! You are the sunshine to my day!!!!.....................................which could be why i'm not tan... I thought that was pretty danged funny actually. April and I laughed for a solid 5 mins! :) Later April and I were discussing being able to hear people talk and soft talkers, I told her that an advantage to marrying me would be that my husband would never have to buy a hearing aide! I am a bit loud, I'm sure you never ever guessed that at all!!

Every other Friday night I babysit for a small group through my church, this is a pic from this past Friday night, I watch 4 kids and one of them took the picture. they love playing with my camera and having their pics and videos taken but they really love being the one to take the pics or video!

Oh my little Sam Sam... He's in a not interested in food phase, but luckily he still loves having his picture taken!! Joey was making a really funny expression, but with my slow camera, instead we get this look.. When he does it, he double fists. All. the.time. hilarious! This is what happened when I told Joey to "turn your frown upside down" I informed him that was sideways.... SO he did this instead. And this picture he took of me! Or is it hokey? NO, I think its pokey. ANYWAYS Point being I was almost arrested! Backing up, the week before Christmas my co worker and I were both given gift cards by one of our co workers. Really nice! Well we found out that my card had money on it and hers did not. So she stuck it in our co workers mailbox with a note on it since she was on vacay. Days later, Katie and I went shopping to find her a dress for New Years. While we were out I found the two dresses from Dress Barn that I've posted on here. Planning to wear the Blue and Brown one to Emily's wedding, I decided that I needed some boots, since it's stinking cold and snowy here. I wanted to look super cute today as I had an interview and was getting my picture taken as a meet new staff thingy at work. So I wore my new Zebra print dress from the Dress Barn, LOVE!! Snow had melted some, and I just didn't like my shruggie boots with it so i went with my comfy black bowed flats. Highly festive!!

I had a post all written up in my head, and then I got distracted and now 15 mins later I cannot for the life of me remember what I was going to say!! OH SNAP! So for lack of anything interesting I will open up to answers for my most burning question. How on earth do I play a DVD with Direct TV? I have programmed my Direct TV Remote to work the Dvd player and it turns on and off and plays but I can't see the dvd? When I had cable I just pressed GAME on my tv remote and that took me to a blank screen and then my dvd would play there. Well ever since I"ve had direct tv it is a fuzzy screen and nothing plays? I am about to go out of my mind and I'm getting seriously annoyed. HELP!! Help me play my DVD"S so I cna entertain you with stories of me doing yoga!

This may not look like much to you but I am absolutely THRILLED!! I have enough hair for a pony tail now!! OK so its a small, wussy stub of a pony tail but still though!! Let the great hair grow of 2010 commence!!!!

So I took down my tree this week and the corner just looked bare, not to mention I missed sitting with my lamp off in the darkness with glowy lights. So I fixed that little problem! I moved a three shelf thingy to that corner and intertwined some clear lights on it. I think it looks pretty cool!! On the opposite side of my entertainment center is my cd rack and I also put some clear lights in it to balance it out. An interior decorator I will never be, but I like it. And yes, I'm also watching The Good Wife.. love that show!!

Well its the new year and time to get back on track!! Here's my first 7 Quick Takes of 2010!! 1. I am having a love/hate relationship with my truck. Mostly hate. Katie's hubs had to come jump my truck and charge up my battery today because it was dead. When I went to leave work it barely started. ergh... I knew I was going to have to buy one in the next few years but I really didn't want it to be this year.... KEEP TRUCKIN PIMPMOBILE!! 2. SO PUMPED for American Idol to start next Tuesday! Along with new Greys and Private Practice!! YEAAAHHHHHHH!!!! 3. So I can't get my DVD player to work with my Direct TV. Anyone have any tips on that? THIS is what Winter looks like!!! No, this is not my chiropracter (although I was headed to see him!) but I thought this showed some of the depth of the 5 inches of snow we have so far.. This road was really surprisingly clear! This is how nasty and yucky snow looks after people drive on it. Its kind of brownish sludge.. gross.. Almost to my apt! That is the side of one of the buildings, not mine though.. So this is what Winter looks like. Quit complaining about it being in the 40s!!! We're going to end up with 8 inches of snow by the time this is over! and our high on Saturday? a balmy 8 degrees. the low is NEGATIVE 8!

Here is my outfit for the first Pink Weds of 2010! WOOT!! My shirt is my new shirt I got for Christmas from my awesome SIL Liz! I LOVE IT!! And its nice and long too!! side note-anyone notice the picture on the shelf??!! :) This just cracks me up! I have several co workers that are all about Pink Weds! Not only do they wear Pink but now we have dressed this dude as well... P tells me next weds this dude will be sitting in our office. Now that I can't wait to see!! It has come to my attention that I am not exactly the person to be teaching little kids things. I am beginning to rethink my plan of homeschooling my kids. New Years Eve I spent with the bubbies and we watched several kiddie cartoons. We were watching the Backyardigans, ok side note, has anyone ever watched the Backyardigans? It was my first time and I STILL have robot on a rampage stuck in my head! To say their songs are repetitive would be a small statement. But what amused me was the choreographed boyband circa 1998 dance numbers they would do to their songs. It looked like a cheap cartoon version of backstreet boys! It amused me! Ok anyways, so we're watching the Backyardigans and we are watching the episode the 50 ft Worman. So I decide to try and teach Joey how much 50 ft is. Great idea huh? Yeah it didn't go so well.
