I'm so happy I could cry!! OH wait I did allready!!

Today marks the birthday of Miss Kara Ann.. She was born to my dear friend from pcc, Cindy Boo and her hubs Chris this afternoon alittle before 3pm. She was 5 weeks early and gave us a little scare, but she is healthy and perfect and absolutely GORGEOUS!! She weighed 5 pounds 14 oz and is 19 inches long!

Welcome to the world little Kara Ann. We are so glad you're here. We can't wait to get to know you and your personality and see you grow and turn into a beautiful young lady just like your mama!

Cindy Boo I am so proud of you and so happy for you! You are going to be a fabulous mom and one of the coolest mom's on the block! I can't wait to watch you go through motherhood, you will be a wonderful success!! I love you all!! It kills me that you're in TX and I'm stuck here in IN, but rest assured there will be a trip sometime this year! I have got to get my hands on that precious little Kara Burrito!! (and tell her a thing or two about her momma!!)

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
