Anyone have some extra cardboard boxes?

So I went to go look at the town house today.. Umm.. yeah.. for one thing it helps when the leasing agent actually SHOWS UP to show you the place. for the other thing it helps if the said town house is not located in what seems to be the ghetto surrounded by sketchy people... Needless to say I got out of there!

So it looks like I'm back to living in a cardboard box underneath the bridge. Not sure which bridge, I guess I"ll have to find one?! I do have a lead on an apt that looks like its not in a sketchy area, and is a decent price for a good amount of space. Sounds to good to be true, doesn't it? Yeah we'll see!

In the meantime I am hanging out at my soon to be former apt listening to the sounds of my annoying upstairs neighbor, his child that he has part time, and his parents who come over to help him and appear to be hard of hearing because his mother is yelling everything. Did I mention she ever so helpfully yelled up to his apt on the third floor from the parking lot? Yeah, that was enjoyable.

Last night after I got home I decided I needed to clean and organize some more and I finally, FINALLY cleaned my room and no longer have spring and winter clothes strewn about and I can actually sit in my glider and use my ottoman! So I sat in my glider by my window with the breeze flowing through and read a book. It was glorious! GLORIOUS!! I love this new spring weather!!

I just bought a 25 pack of 6"x6" boxes for a project, but, I think it might be hard to squeeze all your stuff into those.:) Hey, you got your room cleaned, so thats a positive. Sorry the townhouse didn't work out. :( How long before your lease is up?

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
