How much I struggle....

So Thursday was a rough day. I had stayed up untill 1:30 am texting with someone and got around 5 hours of sleep. To say I was struggling was an understatement. I was Ok in the morning because I downed a coke from McD's and had copious amounts of sugar from the Preferred Partners fair downstairs. Nothing like having a Dilly bar at 10:15 am.

By 2 pm though I had crashed and was SO.TIRED. Apes and I listed to our 3 o clock sway and I closed my eyes to listen to the song and I swear I nodded off for a moment.

I always run to the bathroom before Apes leaves for the day since I'm alone in the office for an hour and a half. So I made my bathroom run at 4:25 and the following occured.

This may be TMI to some but it was just too funny not to share.

So I'm in the bathroom and I go to pull up my leggings and realize I feel something in my bottom region.

I had a moment of sheer horror and wondered if I was so half asleep that I couldn't even get my toilet paper in the toilet and they had somehow wound up in my leggings instead.

I gingerly reached my hand down to find out what object was in my pants

and pulled out a TROUSER SOCK

I had been walking around for 7 hours with a TROUSER SOCK IN MY LEGGINGS and NO ONE told me!! Even worse I NEVER NOTICED!!!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo! My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable. My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size! Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages. L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something. In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
